15+ Relatable Work From Home Memes for Pajamafied Employees With Who Can't Survive Another Zoom Call

When you're a remote employee, working from home is like having a job where you don't need to sacrifice your unemployed fashion choices. Dressing like a sloth, sleeping until 1 minute before your calls, and eating yogurt directly out of the tub is actually encouraged when you're a work from home warrior. You can maintain this sedentary lifestyle pretty much indefinitely if you have the stomach for lonesome days where the only voices you hear are the voices in your head and the semi-concerned voice of your manager on your weekly check-in call. Just be sure to splash cold water on your face every time you hop on Zoom because your coworkers are going to send the police to your address to do a wellness check if they don't hear from you on Slack in over 36 hours.

'I'm not coming in': 20+ Satisfying texts and photos from fed-up employees and their horrible bosses

Having a bad boss is never easy, so gain some vicarious joy from these brave quitters

I've never rage-quit a job, although I've been thisclose to doing so. Having a boss you don't get along with makes every day a battle not just to do your work, but to do it while being infuriated by your boss's presence. Having a boss who micromanages is tough, making you feel like you're under a microscope as you do everything from sending emails to working with clients. I'm thrilled for all these fed-up employees who got the opportunity of a lifetime to just say "I'm out!"

After your spirits have been lifted by these brave souls, check out this roommate who was so clueless that he needed special rules just to keep him and his roommates safe.

'[I] was terminated for the third time': Beloved and overworked employee gets fired for "underperforming," sparks professional dialogue on how to bounce back

When it comes to looking for a job, it is not easy these days. The amount of experience required, combined with education standards, edict, etc. in this economy is outrageous. Back in the day, as long as you were wanting to work, you could usually find a job. Now, even if you want to be a cashier at your local fast food restaurant, you need at least five years experience. So when you find somewhere you enjoy working, you don't want to let it go. However, sometimes that simply is just not your call.

Sometimes you try your hardest and you still get let go. That is just how the workforce crumbles these days, unfortunately. So what do you do when that happens? You don't want to burn any bridges on your way out, but you also feel snubbed. Well, one millennial recently turned to Reddit to seek advice on just this. "I want to hear how folks bounced back, either in similar roles of if they went in a new direction," they write. "I am curious about ways to build habits that aren't based on the habits and patterns I have used since I was a child as well."

The Reddit poster was recently let go from a non-profit job they were working where they felt very comfortable and were loved by coworkers and clients. The employer still let them go and explained why, which the Redditor understood and accepted. He exited the job gracefully, but is no lost. They don't know what they need to change in order to hold a job for longer. Apparently, this is the third time they have been fired in their professional career and they take that as a sign to focus inward and better themselves.

Many working people have fled to the comment section to give their advice on how to bounce back from being fired and even personal stories of their own triumphs after being let go. Scroll on and see for your self below. Luckily, he was beloved by his coworker, unlike this colleague who ended up getting pranked into insanity for being a rude and condescending person to work with

'I decided to evict them this morning': Mother of three kicks out roommates for throwing a party against her wishes

These roommates may have no home now, but they certainly have plenty of audacity. This thread was posted to Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit by u/Sudden-Disk284, who had recently gone through an immense tragedy after the loss of her husband.

The fact that these so-called "friends" of hers thought that a party was a good idea after she expressly stated that it wasn't just goes to show how self-serving they really are. It's awful that she felt the need to evict these guys, but they 100% deserved it. This woman already had to make some pretty huge life changes, including getting her license and a new job that would allow her to support her children. Unfortunately, now she has to cut these people out of her life. Certainly not ideal, but clearly, they are not serving her in any way.

'A literal fistfight almost broke out': Man puts a $31 lien on his HOA president's $20 million dollar mansion as petty revenge, preventing him from selling it until his 'debt' is paid

HOA's are a pain in the rear. The idea of an HOA is great– have a collection of live-in leaders get together once a month to improve the building and the property they live in– but nowadays they rarely operate like that. In fact, HOA's are so useless that they can't even do simple upkeep without first lining their pockets for profit. One man decided to take a stand against a crummy HOA board by taking the most epic petty revenge of all time.

After months of suffering with the effects of a decaying building, inhabitants that were paying hundreds a month in HOA fees were wondering where their hard earned cash was being put to the test. It certainly wasn't going to fund the broken elevator, broken rooftops, janky AC units, and the empty pool. No no no, that money had other purposes– making the HOA board president even richer.

So after suing his HOA for not providing some documents to prove what they'd spent the HOA fees on (which is a legal requirement), OP had lost $31 in 'attorney fees' to cover filing to sue the HOA. Welp, the HOA president refused to compensate him for that $31 after they lost in court, so OP took revenge into his own hands.

'You can't do that': Customer loses thousands of dollars after filing a chargeback despite being offered full refund for purchase

Customers often play a dangerous game in terms of refunds, and this game can ultimately result in some bitter consequences. In this case, a customer bought a designer item online, and when it arrived she sent a rude message to the seller, OP, demanding a full refund, threatening OP with filing a chargeback. The catch was Karen wanted OP to Venmo her the money, which is a huge, blaring red flag. OP said they would refund the money if the item was returned, per company guidelines. Karen discarded OP's offer and filed a chargeback anyway. Karen also left a scathing review, which OP knew would ham their credibility in sales.

Luckily, OP knew that Karen had just done something very illegal… it's considered fraudulent to file a chargeback when the retailer has offered a full refund. OP appealed the case, won, and was able to keep the money. A few weeks later, the item arrived right back on her doorstep, undamaged. OP was given the opportunity to refund Karen, seeing as the item was intact. But… well, OP decided to enact some petty revenge. Scroll down to read what happened next.

For more, here is a tenant who was denied a refund after paying for a broken boiler part; the tenant got back at the landlord by taking the boiler part with him, rendering the boiler completely useless.

'No hiding coffee in the furniture': Bumbling roommate requires 'unique house rules' due to his silly mistakes

This roommate is one of those people who need to be supervised because they've just never learned basic life skills. You may take for granted that someone taught you how to cook — it seems no one informed this "Kevin" roommate of the dangers that can bring.

This person shared three hilarious stories of rules they implemented due to Kevin's really specific habits. Roommates like this can be lots of fun to hang out with (it seems that Kevin was a nice guy overall) but they just seem to need extra help with basic activities. No one told Kevin the proper way to clean the floor, making it a major hazard to roommates and any visitors.

This person, u/ArcadiaRhodes, shared the tale to r/StoriesAboutKevin, a sub all about goofy guys. In the comments, people shared their own funny roommate stories. A few people have had the slippery floor experience themselves, so clearly Kevin isn't alone in finding things out the hard way.
