Man Rummages Through Coworker's Purse, She Files a Report Against Him

Does he really expect us to believe he needed a phone charger that badly? People really do come up with the lamest excuses. This thread was posted to Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit by u/Serious-Court3252, who shared her story about a nosy coworker who took things way too far.

It all starts innocently. He asks to borrow a phone charger. Then, he asks again and again and again, and it becomes a thing. You help out because you don't want to create any bad blood, and you don't mind being helpful. But the truth is this is just a more adult version of when you would lend out your pencils to other classmates in high school. Not only is it unlikely that you'll get those pencils back, but also it creates a power dynamic.

Here's where it gets creepy. The Redditor went away from her desk to use the bathroom and returned, only to find her male coworker rummaging through her purse. When she called him out, he claimed he was simply looking for her charger and assumed it was ok because she always lends it to him.

Of course, filing a formal complaint to the company's headquarters created some drama in the office. Another female coworker thinks the Redditor took things too far, but we would just like to point out how messed up that logic is. Things went too far when her male coworker decided it was ok to search through a woman's purse without her permission. That was the only real line that was crossed here. Next time, this other coworker can lend her charger to the thief, and we'll see what happens.

'There was now a man sitting in the driver's seat': 13 Delivery Drivers Share Their Most Insane and Memorable Stories

Being a delivery driver is not an easy job. Sure, even hearing the phrase 'pizza delivery guy' paints a pretty clear picture in your mind of the stereotypical driver but that's all it is, a stereotype. In reality, delivery drivers are often tasked with excessively large volumes and clients to deliver to so there's often little margin for error or for anything to go sideways. But when your job consists of being on the move constantly driving through traffic in order to interact with completely random strangers, the only thing you can be certain of is that something is going to go wrong. It's not a job I'd like to do, even my first job as a beer merchandiser to legitimate businesses put me in some pretty vulnerable situations.

A whole army of delivery drivers gathered on this AskReddit thread to share their experiences during their travels in the trade. Some of these stories are truly shocking and better judgment urged me to remove the worst ones (you can still view these on the original thread if you're so inclined.) Still, some of them are strangely wholesome but not in a way that makes you want to take up the trade.

Read on and enjoy these thirteen stories. For more threads of people spilling the tea, check out these stories about normally calm people who lost their sh-twhen pushed over the edge.

'You're making money a priority just like my ex did': Divorced man makes girlfriend pay for dinner with his parents

This Redditor had me screaming "RUN!" by the second sentence! Her thread was posted to Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit and detailed her complicated dynamic with her boyfriend of 5 months.

The fact that she offers a sort of disclaimer at the beginning of her post about why her boyfriend likes to refer to himself as the "divorcee" rather than just "divorced" says quite a lot. Anyone who feels the need to constantly communicate to the world that he initiated his divorce probably…didn't.

Next big red flag: he's 35 years old, she's 29, and she pays for everything. The Redditor mentions that she recently got a second job, so evidently, that's why it "makes sense" for her to foot the bill (there has been no mention of her boyfriend having even one job, by the way). Matters were made worse when the two of them were seated at a restaurant waiting for his parents to arrive. That's when the Worst Boyfriend Ever decided to mention that the Redditor would be paying for everyone's meals. Thank God this woman stood up for herself and got out of there as fast as she could.

This man is a leech and potentially a pathological liar. The fact that he still made comparisons to his ex during their fight also goes to show that his wife probably left him for similar reasons. 5 months is simply not enough time in a relationship for this kind of imbalance to develop healthily. In short, this woman needs to RUN, FORREST, RUN!

Entitled Karen with 7 Kids Kicks Everyone Out of Elevator, Woman Stands Up to Her

I guess having 7 children in 9 years hardens you because wow, I would not want to be stuck in an elevator with this lady.

This thread was posted to Reddit's r/AmiTheA**hole subreddit by u/narniais4lovers, who recounted how this Karen had the tendency to aggressively shove people out of the elevator so she could take over with her children and get upstairs first. As the Redditor pointed out, of course, we have sympathy for a mother of 7 children. That woman has probably changed a greater number of diapers than the number of episodes of Grey's Anatomy. So…respect.

However, enduring 7 children in 9 years does not mean you rule the world, and when you live in an apartment building, you're sharing that elevator with every other tenant. No matter how many kids you've had or how many diapers you've changed. So hats off to the original poster here who finally had enough and refused to leave. She agreed to make enough room for the mother and her kids, but that wasn't enough to satisfy Queen Karen. So she stormed out, cussing out the woman. Here's hoping she had to wait a long, painful amount of time for the next elevator to arrive.

We've seen other entitled Karens do what entitled Karens do. This one complained about the noise of firetruck sirens in her neighborhood. Keep scrolling below for the original post and for the best comments!

Employee Fired Over Hospital Visit, Boss Then Misses Wedding Tasting and Fianceé Leaves Him

In a series of extremely preventable events this employee was fired for missing work but still required to work out a two-week notice period. If that sounds confusing to you, that's because it is. Working a notice period after being unceremoniously fired is entirely laughable and totally bewildering, especially when you're requiring said fired (and unqualified) employee to run the shop for you while you dip out for wedding preparations with your fianceé.

Yeah, totally preventable. All this guy had to do what not be all the way stupid. Instead, he chose the stupid route and had his dirty laundry aired out in front of his superior. The chain of events that followed would play the part of a Rube Goldberg machine that finished by dropping a strand of straw onto the proverbial camel's back of his engagement, resulting in his fianceé ending things and leaving him for good.

Irish People On TikTok Are Just Discovering the American Term "Irish Goodbye" and Are Very Confused

As an American, I have used the term "Irish goodbye" many times. I mean, it can be a life saver when you are at your wits end! We've all been at a party where we're either too drunk or our social meter has reached its limit and it is very much time to go. But you're with a friend group where if you try to leave, they're going to do everything in their power to get you to stay. You're already weak, so you do the best swift exit you can think of, and that is leaving without saying goodbye to anybody. Maybe you text them after you're already in the car home, but you couldn't face anybody with the truth of you leaving. However, Irish people on TikTok are just discovering that Americans use this term and are very confused—mostly because apparently Irish people take a very long time to say goodbye. People from other countries are also chiming in saying they have their own phrase for it and it usually uses another country like the "French Exit" or "English Exit." So, basically, nobody wants to fess up to being the ones who leave without saying goodbye the most, even though it's very obviously something that people do in every single culture….
