‘My Boss Was a Liar. I Knew I Was Gonna Quit, but First I Needed to Maliciously Comply’ : Employee Humiliates Lying Boss in Front of Coworkers After Finding Hidden Agenda Regarding Work Training

While at work, we expect a certain level of professionalism from our coworkers, including our boss. Many managers tend to have a hidden agenda of sorts, and live in la-la land, blindly assuming they won't get figured out. What was this manager's real motivation for making her employees' lives more difficult? I'm not sure. But she insisted that specific training take place out of State.

Now, this was back in 2020, when that wasn't really possible. Moreover, there were mandatory 2-week quarantines in place for anyone going back into their State — which this boss fully planned on ignoring. So she wasn't just being totally inconsiderate towards her employees, but also to the entire world. Thanks, Karen. The employees thought it was weird that upper management would want employees to go through so much just for some 'training', but this Karen insisted that there was no remote training available.

She was very much lying, as it turns out. The employee who was really getting the worst of her behavior had decided she was gonna quit. Who would want to stay in that kind of toxic environment? She had a newborn to think about as well, so it was a pretty clear 'Nope, I'm out' for her. But before doing so, she decided to dig a bit… finding out quickly that it was all a fabrication, she did what she had to do.

Update! 'She gave the judge an attitude': Woman demands extra money for a brand new MacBook after friend sits on her old computer

One person wondered if they were at fault for the full cost of a new MacBook after breaking their friend's computer. They took to r/legaladvice years ago to explain the situation — and now they're back with an update to their laptop woes!

Originally, u/MacBookcouch wrote that while they were over at a friend's place, they took a seat on the couch. Unfortunately there was a MacBook on the cushion, and the OP broke the screen! "Since it was completely my fault, I offered to pay her the money," the OP wrote. But this woman got greedy. She wouldn't accept the OP's money when the time came because she wanted a new computer, complete with the cost increase of hundreds of dollars. She thinks if she's getting a new computer, it should be an upgrade at the OP's expense. Without other options, the OP turned to the internet for advice, and shared what happened as their legal drama played out.

'My gut told me to turn into Harriet the Spy...': Wife Suspects Husband's Cheating on Her With Mutual Friend, Pretends to Be Him on Social Media and Gets the Other Woman to Spill the Tea

If you have ever been put in the horrible position where you suspect that your "loving" partner is cheating in you, then you know there is no other gut-wrenching feeling like it. Maybe you see their phone lighting up with messages late at night. Or you get a friend saying they say your partner out with someone else at a random time of the day that you didn't know about. Or you simply see someone liking too many of their social media posts. That feeling of your heart dropping into your stomach is instant. It makes you want to curl up into a ball and hide away. But that is not what you do!

One strong wife epically shares on Reddit how she discovered and left her unfaithful husband. He had already pulled some shady things on suspicious apps that had them on the rocks, but he agreed to delete them and attend therapy. The couple have been together over 7 years and had a 1-year-old baby boy. So the wife was hoping everything would work out. Then one day she saw on their security camera a woman trying to come to their house while she was out of town and her husband was at home. He said it was just a traveling sales person, but she could see through his BS.

So she decided to go into FBI-mode and do some investigating herself. She went onto Instagram and deciphered whatever his login was, after several tries, she got in! With that, she started talking to their mutual friend she suspected he was cheating on her with. And with that, the other woman spilled all the tea and she knew.

She immediately called her friends over to pack up all of his belongings and kicked him out. Though he cried and apologized to her, she said she had too much respect for herself and her child, so they were done. EPIC!

'No point asking you anything else': Rude hiring manager makes interviewee cry after second interview

This person is scared to interview again after this terrible experience with an insensitive hiring manager. This unfortunate job seeker took to r/recruitingh*ll to share their awful experience and vent about their frustrations with the interview process.

As u/ThatFaithlessness101 wrote, they had a second interview with a company. It was entry level, and they also stated in the job requirements that you didn't have to be familiar with anything related to the job before joining the company. So that's why it was all the more baffling when the OP was asked a question they didn't know the answer to. Instead of asking another question to determine if the OP was right for the job, the manager dismissed them pretty rudely.

As one person mentioned in the comments, this manager might have already interviewed a dozen people that day, and was possibly already sure they weren't going to hire the OP. That sucks for the OP, but it's still no excuse for rudeness on the manager's part.

Next, this woman is so confused why her SIL is mad that she didn't make enough accommodations for her niece…is she in the wrong?
