Trashtacular Moments of Startling Garbage-osity

Variety is the spice of life, but trashtacular moments are the paper bag filled with gold spraypaint, and the world would be a completely different place without it. Probably more organized and less needlessly dramatic, but we are what we are. We stand, mouths agape at the garbage behavior of the world, hoping we don't get splattered with anything. We all have stories, from neighborhood porch pirates to the worst houseguests people have experienced.

Enraged Karen Demands “Your Name” So She Can Report Customer Service Rep, He Does Exactly What She Asked

When u/PUNKeM0N was confronted by a raging Karen customer they approached the situation with a cool and level head. They were asked to write "your name" on a Post-It note so that they could report them to management. So that's exactly what u/PUNKeM0N did, writing "YOUR NAME" on the Post-It and handing it to Karen.

When Karen saw the note they lost their darn mind.

It's no secret that Karen's are often oblivious to their own insanity. Like this Karen who bullied another customer when they thought they worked there.

Customer Cons Front-End Developer, Tech Revenge Ensues

Oh boy does Bob sound like a real nasty piece of work. The thing about Bob's whole immoral series of plays was that he vastly underestimated the lengths to which a talented front-end dev/SEO guru would go to undermine his whole shady operation. To say that the pro revenge was massively effective would be its own kind of understatement. Bob got completely rekt. If you're looking for some more juicy pro revenge drama check out the time that a client tried to screw an employee over by locking them out of the system, and then how it totally backfired

Childcare Worker Gives Her Parents A Much-Needed Reality Check After They Criticize Her Line of Work, Prompts Ire From Siblings

There seems to be this constant desire from parents to funnel their kids into STEM careers. I don't think any of us are surprised that those careers aren't for everyone and often aren't even the best way to support yourself and make a living.

This childcare worker's parents were utterly determined to put down her work until she hit them with the hard truth of just how much she earns. They clearly didn't see that one coming. You can really tell her parents are AH's when they immediately turn to admonishing their other children instead of the OP and cause the siblings to take out the stress from this unwanted attention on their sister.

We saw another AITA post from a childcare worker recently when a babysitter had to call the cops on the mother when she was abandoned with the children.

Manager Sends Insane Email After Employee Passes, Coworkers Can’t Grieve on Company Time Because the Deceased “Wouldn’t Have Wanted Productivity to Slide”

When u/comrade-linux's friend received this email from their company's management they were astounded. Their coworker 'Red' had recently passed away and the team, who was close to their coworker, was experiencing loss and grieving.

Clearly, the company is devastated by the loss of their "family member". Not because of the reasons you might be expecting though. Not because they were a unique human and an individual with their own values. No, this company is just concerned with the fact that they have lost one of their highest sales earners and how their coworker's grieving might affect their productivity.

It's pretty safe to say that this message goes beyond just being simply tone-deaf and strays into 'sociopathic' and beyond.

For more horrible workplace stories check out this maintenance worker who got his company to backpay $700,000 worth of wages they had been stealing.
