This quick post from a woman on Tumblr went viral. It describes how to shut down creepy dudes in public that are asking women for numbers, by passing off a fake voicemail. Seems like it might be a solid way to drop an annoying harasser without having to take more intense action.

Came for some laughs in the reviews section, and wasn't disappointed. Gotta love when people spice up the reviews section with some humor.

A woman working HR asked Redditors in a recent AITA thread, whether or not she was a jerk for wanting to reject a qualified candidate on the grounds that this person hooked up with her cheating ex-fiancé. Sounds like a solid case of conflict of interest, and that everyone would be best served moving forward down separate paths. Can't imagine this hiring would make for a healthy workplace environment.

Seems like a very functional and loving relationship between two happy individuals. Marriage must be right around the corner!

Gotta admit, had me in the first half. We're all for clever tinder attempts like this guy's send nudes sonnet, but how many times do you have to try this on tinder before the person actually gets what's happening and plays along? It's a bold strategy and it looks like if it works it really works and if it doesn't it REALLY doesn't.

This kid pulled off one of the oldest tricks in the book. I thought this stuff only happened in the movies. Those cops never had a chance. But like actually. In all fairness the kid looks like he had such a substantial head start that hiding out in the trash can was probably unnecessary.

A moment like this has gotta make you feel like a real embarrassed piece of garbage. This guy's heart was in the right place, but his debit card was in a garbage can miles away. Hopefully he'll be able to escape his zone of shame and go outside one day, but hot damn.

One of the most frustrating parts of a teacher's job is having to deal with parents who don't want to be involved, don't want to put in the effort, or are absolutely insane. It provides a lot of insight into why their kids might be not doing well in school.

This passenger was extremely out of line when she got caught up in an altercation with her boyfriend. At one point you can see her bring a literal Dell computer down upon her fleeing boyfriend's head. Apparently she was removed from the flight, which ended up being delayed for a couple hours.

Some people grow out of it, some don't. Children are stupid idiots. Sure, they're just learning everything about the world for the first time, but hot damn are they dumb as rocks for a while there. We were dumb too. We're still dumb, but we can do long division and drive, so that's pretty good.

This woman asked the people of Reddit whether or not she was the jerk for getting a single mother, personal trainer fired from her gym. The answer is absolutely in the context on this one. Turns out the personal trainer was taking pictures of obese people working out at the gym, and then posting them on her Instagram account. What kind of self-loathing and senseless p.o.s. pulls a stunt like that? The gym is better off without her, and it sounds like she needs to seek out some help of her own.

Twitter User @allieward, started a viral Twitter thread when she complained to Macy's about the recent release of their "portion control" plates in stores. The feedback was largely one of disapproval, and people really started getting into it in the comments section. Eventually Macy's intervenes, and announces that they will in fact be removing the plates from all stores cause they "missed the mark" on this one. What do you think? A bunch of overreacting and unnecessary drama, or did Macy's cross the line on this one.

A recent AskReddit thread has people sharing those times they tried to "fake it till they made it" and the resulting stories are solid lessons in the power of telling the truth. You might be able to lie your way into a job, but a lie will not compensate for the skills actually needed; and the only way to get those is usually through the hard-earned work.
