In typical hyper-aggressive Karen fashion, any attempt to let the Karen know that she is mistaken will be met with a "you're just a lazy employee who just doesn't want to help me." More often than not, the more ready someone is to call someone else an idiot, the higher chance they themselves are the true moron. People will double down and say some wildly dumb things, but rarely do we get to prove these people wrong. It's at least a little nice to challenge the absurd things people say in complete seriousness.
Despite a litany of reasonable excuses, this school administration was determined to send someone to detention. This person's dad, being a bro, decided to show up for detention and make a point regarding the absurdity of the whole situation. Sometimes school faculty isn't this rigid and vindictive, like these teachers who pulled total bro moves.
The comments section on the original video really says it all. What was she thinking? This dude seems like an absolute catch. Of course, this is also one of those dating shows that could all be scripted, and/or involve people donning their carefully practiced egoic masks that completely hide their actual monstrous selves from the rest of the world watching them on TV. Maybe the dude was a straight up demon. Or, maybe, just maybe he ended up dodging the real bullet through being rejected.
Man, let this employee's experience navigating the ins and outs of a job under the weight of a terribly toxic boss be a lesson to us all. If you see those bright red flags present at a company that you're considering working for, don't ignore them. Trust your gut instinct. At least this employee was able to serve up some satisfying malicious compliance when it was all said and done. There are definitely fake towns out there, but the specifics of how staffed they might be is up for investigation. How does it feel to walk around in a government fabricated ghost town? As people who have grown up playing video games, we scoff at the notion that video games inherently corrupt people and turn them into violent sociopaths. It's probably more likely that they just turn people into hardline capitalists determined to see how they can buff their intelligence with potions in order to siphon as much gold as possible out of their local apothecary. Video games give people a chance to nuke their fellow players out of orbit, but they also let us cooperate with people we might otherwise not, and sometimes that turns into wholesome moments such as this.
People aren't great at spelling, and boy does it show.
