As people who have grown up playing video games, we scoff at the notion that video games inherently corrupt people and turn them into violent sociopaths. It's probably more likely that they just turn people into hardline capitalists determined to see how they can buff their intelligence with potions in order to siphon as much gold as possible out of their local apothecary. Video games give people a chance to nuke their fellow players out of orbit, but they also let us cooperate with people we might otherwise not, and sometimes that turns into wholesome moments such as this.
