''Seriously??': Employer's bathroom break policy goes viral after employee shares it online

Imagine finishing school and looking to enter the workforce for the first time... Your entire life, you've dreamt about the freedom and opportunity that graduating from school will offer you—what doors will open? Where will you go? What way will the direction blow you? The answers to these questions aren't nearly as exciting as you might have hoped… none, nowhere, and wherever you can find work—respectively. As soon as you throw that cap in the air, the student loan repayments start to tick; and then there's rent, rates, taxes, food, transportation, and insurance before you even get to sniff that paycheck. These costs are going to hold you still—exactly wherever you landed.

What's worse? In University, you had the freedom to skip lectures (when needed) and dip out of the lecture hall to use the restroom (when required). Now that you're tied to a desk, counter, or phone—you don't have that option. On top of everything else, your boss now wants to know the status of your homeostasis and the movement of your sphincters; hey, it's only a matter of time before we're all microchipped so they can farm that data.

That's what got this online community so fired up when images of this poster went viral. The poster describes an authoritative bathroom break policy in which workers need to notify their Supervisors before attending to their business. Hilariously, they're also going to somehow monitor your phone usage and dock you points for making too long of a pit stop. What, are they going to be standing outside with a stopwatch? What is this? Stock cars or Formula 1?

Update! ‘What? AITA did good?’: Stepdad makes amends with son after getting eviscerated online

It's not every day that you see savagery on the Internet actually make a positive impact. Yup, you read that right. This stepdad posted to Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit and was eviscerated in the comments section by the ruthless judges of the AITA community, but now the Redditor has come back having turned over a new leaf.

Believe it or not, the internet savagery that u/nervousaccomplice74 received actually made him learn to listen to his stepson and realize that he was going through an incredible amount of change during an already difficult stage of life. Who would have thought that the AITA community could do some good in the world, or that this guy would have the capability to look inward and reflect rather than turn a blind eye to what people were saying? What a 180 to have witnessed. Am I about to cry right now? Who's to say?

'Yes, there is a storm coming. No, we will not be closing': Hypocrite boss forces employees to come to work during severe winter storm

We guarantee that this toxic boss will not show up to work... even though he literally went out of his way to pressure everyone else to go in.

There are so many unprofessional moments within his message and unkept promises in this thread, which was posted to Reddit's r/antiwork subreddit by one of his employees. That employee also revealed in the comments section that the promise of helping drive coworkers to work was obviously unrealistic (looks like Toxic Boss came up with a series of excuses to fulfill that end of the bargain). Furthermore, the fact that he warned employees to prepare themselves to be shoveling snow all day - which is certainly not part of their job descriptions - is just further incentive for these employees to band together and demand fair treatment or just straight up quit. ‘Get Me Who’s in Charge. You Won’t See a Cent of This Bill’ : Elitist Customer Demands Manager After Miscommunication, Server Loses Tip

Private events at restaurants are often riddled with miscommunications, false impressions, and rude guests/customers. One server took to Reddit, complaining about an entitled, elitist customer she'd come across at a sports event the restaurant she worked at, hosted. Organizers of such events generally relay important information to guests, but it usually lands on deaf ears. This was such a case. She was working with colored lanyards, so she knew which guests were to receive free refills on spirits.

Alas, you'll always find a Karen in the wild. In this situation, it was more of a Ken. This customer was aghast when he was handed a bill at the end of the night. What ensued was an awkward misunderstanding, a heck of a lot of yelling, entitled behavior, and zero tips for the server. Scroll down to read the infuriating detailed account below, as told by u/princesspriyaa.

When you're finished reading, check out this tale of malicious compliance, including the firing of an employee who just couldn't seem to follow company safety guidelines.
