Absurd Couple Gets Offended When Their Friends Order Food to Take Home at a Restaurant

Surely there must be something missing from this story. What an absolutely absurd reaction.

When u/tatatertotter ordered food to take home to their children, as they had done hundreds of times before, their friend's took major offense and later told a mutual friend that they thought u/tatatertotter's actions were trashy.

I can't imagine this possibly being an issue unless it held up proceedings of the evening for everyone else.

What's your take?

Dingbat Boyfriend Insists on Eating Peanuts Despite His Girlfriend's Serious Allergy, Won't Listen to Her

This idiot is an absolute nutcase. Imagine valuing a nut over your partner's life.

This guy is being completely disrespectful and unreasonable. Especially since her request extends, at this point, only to her own space. It is a massive red flag that he can't respect her space and medical requirements this early on in the relationship. Time to send him and his peanuts packing.

I wonder if he's the same guy as the guy who sent his Tinder date to the emergency room after accidentally triggering her peanut allergy.

Is this their relationship evolving after-all? Have they found true love?

Dude Organizes Beef Wellington Dinner, Guests Demand It Be Cooked Well Done

If Gordon Ramsay found out about this, there would be no one from this story left alive. It's one thing to have some dietary restriction that excludes you from eating what everyone else eats, but to have the audacity to ruin the whole meal that someone put effort into bringing together? That's just not the way things are done. If she really wants to come, she can have hers microwaved. For some more food drama, here's the vegan employee who requested a coworker eat their burger outside.

Signs The Robot Vacuums Aren't Taking Over Soon

If anyone was worried that the rise of smart vacuums would mean that in 20 short years an uber-sentient race of machines would return the favor by making you suck up dust with your mouth for a living... maybe add an extra 20 years to your countdown. For the time being we can rub in our human superiority by making roombas get beers for us.

Insane Karen Coworker Harasses Woman Who’s Son Has Just Died, Gets Fired Just Before Christmas

The Karen of this story (Liz) sounds like an absolutely perfect example of a Karen. She comes across, in this story, as being extremely self-centered and entitled. I honestly can't imagine how she managed to get along issue-free in this workplace for so long. By the ease at which she was fired... It sounds like there must have been some previous history there.

Adios Karen! Merry Christmas!

Coffee Memes For People Who Barely Know What Day It Is

We don't like the idea of being "don't talk to me before I've had my coffee" people. Office-style coffee humor usually sucks. It's also depressing to admit that we need stimulants to have even a semblance of well-being on any given morning. So rather than a wink and a nod and a 20 dollar mug that has an inverse graph of happiness vs coffee drank or whatever, we'd just like to say: "this is not normal, we're sorry, and please don't talk to me until I've had my coffee." Now here are some work memes.
