Karen Wants $1K Cash For $10 Coupon Sent To Wrong Address, Pays More In Legal Fees

Karen wants $1,000 cash for a $10 coupon sent to the wrong address. She ends up paying more in legal fees.

Karen really played herself on this one. When a mere $10 coupon was mistakenly sent to her address, she thought it'd be a good idea to threaten the retailing company that she'd sue them if they didn't fork over $1,000 in cash. She assumed she'd scare them into complying, and she couldn't have been more wrong. There was a badass attorney with a southern drawl who was more than ready to leap at a chance to sue "Karen." And the rest is history. She ended up having to pay over a thousand bucks, all because she started up some beef over a $10 coupon.

Neighbor's Land-Grabby Attitude Leaves Him With Missing Vehicles and A Ruined Yard

Gramps has a mean neighbor who illegally takes land from protected lands, and the county takes that land back.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. This neighbor was illegally extending his property line into protected land and got nailed for it. Had he been nicer to his neighbors, he may not have been completely screwed, but hey, he flew too close to the sun. Sometimes when people take up too much space, the universe calls on someone to mess with them, like this guy who got petty revenge on a selfish parker with a fake note.

Manipulative and Awful Products and Ads Designed By Jerks

Deceptive products, services and advertisements that lied and cheated consumers.

Soulless people will do anything to make a quick buck. They'll make uncomfortable standing airline seats to save on space, charge people to go to the bathroom, advertise a cheap product and charge a hundred dollars for shipping, literally hide fine print by making it the same color as the background, and do even more devious BS when they think of it. These are examples of deceptive and crappy products. Like seriously, these were designed by the devil.

Incredible Complaint Has Karen Reliving Her Chuck E. Cheese Freakout

reviews customer service chuck e cheese FAIL human resources complaint story entitled coupon stupid karen - 9282565

If you've ever worked retail or any customer-facing job, you will have met a customer who was disrespectful, entitled, treated you like an object and made some demand that store policy doesn't actually honor. With their sticky-fingered kids, boorish husbands and shrill battle cry of "the customer is always right" a Karen is a customer service person's personal nightmare. That's why we take extra joy in stories of entitled Karens who park in disabled spots and get tricked by parody customer service accounts. Oh and also when they demand their children get to taste painful hot sauce. There's a lot of fun times to be had.

Funny Tumblr Thread Explains Disney's Mythical Secret Porn Vault

Tumblr thread explains Disney's mythical vault of dirty images its artists create.

According to this thread, Disney's strict policy that grants them exclusive ownership of any of their employees artwork also gives them the rights to any of the filth that those artists also end up creating as well. We hope Disney has a smut vault/porn cave, but it seems unlikely whether or not they would officially confirm the existence of such a thing. Tumblr has come through with some weird cartoon lore, like this dark thread on Garfield. Tumblr users also share some pretty incredible experiences, like this pizza deliverer who made a list of all the insane people she met.

Huge Trends That Everyone Just Kinda Forgot About

Trends and popular fads that were quickly forgotten.

Man, remember when bacon was a huge thing? There were bacon boardgames, bacon wallets, and bacon flavored soda. It seemed fine at the time, but looking back really makes you question your judgement. We can at least sleep soundly knowing that most of us were dumb teenagers when we fell for these kinds of trends, but it's a trip thinking about crap you were really excited about one day that then dropped off the face of the earth a week later. If this reminded you too much of your past, here are some 90s life hacks for you to live your best 90s life.

Choosing Beggars That Wished The World Gave Them Everything

A collection of screenshots depicting choosing beggars that want to live for free.

Choosing beggars are never going to stop asking the world for free handouts. It's in their DNA at this point. We just can't fathom what compels these cheap bastards to enter into negotiations with other folks, and all the while, never plan on going above a very disagreeable 0 dollars. Like what's the point?

Design Fails That Need Some Work

Stupid and dirty design fails.

If you're into stupidly redundant construction decisions,  shirts that accidentally say "anus," or signs for businesses that also accidentally say "anus" than you've come to the right place. Let's be real, some design can use some extra thought, and some of it, like these magazine layout fails, are freakin awesome.
