The holidays bring about SO much drama. Whether it's with friends, families, or romantic partners, there always seems to be someone who gets butthurt by someone else and makes a scene. The bottom line is people can behave however they want (free will and all that), but they should not expect that their actions have zero consequences. If you're gonna be petty, some people may very well be petty right back.

In the original post, a woman explains that she went to confession to tell a priest about the one-night stand she had years ago that her husband still doesn't know about. As part of her penance, the priest told her that she was going to have to tell the truth to her spouse.
 

Well, the priest beat her to it! When he followed up and called her home directly, he spilled the beans to her husband, who understandably did not take it well. Now, this woman is seeking legal action against the priest.
