'Y'all the first people in the world to see': Viral trend shows uniquely weird objects to the whole internet

In the age of the internet, sometimes it can feel like you've already seen it all. Trends repeat, every few years the same fashion trends will reignite, and of course you can access almost any movie or show.

So what is new on the internet? Well, some extra creative people have been making videos showing just that. The trend is simple: take a few random objects - as off the wall as possible - and combine them to show your viewers something brand new. The trend often involves weird food being poured on a toy, or strange combinations that would taste awful. Other users took old toys and gave them a new use just for their viewers to see. Creators seem to love this trend, while viewers are divided on the absurdity of it all. But truly…we are seeing something new!

'She said she is pretty sure that I’m not the father': Pregnant mom abandons husband and kids, her parents still try to defend her

This guy's in-laws need to face reality. Their daughter not only is pregnant with an affair baby, but she also admitted to her husband that their 13-year-old daughter is likely not his kid. Now, she's moved in with her new boyfriend and has completely cut off communication with the rest of her family.

This thread was posted to Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit, and it just goes to show to how blind some parents can be to their grown kids' behavior. This mother-in-law still managed to spin the story in such a way that she blamed the Redditor for not doing enough to save his family. Seriously? This all happened at their grandchildren's birthday party by the way, and it's not like the Redditor's wife doesn't know her own kids' birthday. She actively chose not to attend. There's no way to spin this. She's the AH here. Period!

'My seat was playing host to Karen's bag': Karen tries to take up two seats on the train, passenger gets petty revenge

There's nothing more satisfying in this world than getting petty revenge on a Karen. This one really deserved it. On a fully packed Amtrak train with assigned seating, she refused to move her bag from the Redditor's seat until an attendant made her move it.

This thread was posted to Reddit's r/F***YouKaren subreddit by u/Zulera301, who later got revenge by playing the Sims on their laptop in the middle of the night and keeping our dear Karen awake. Here's the thing. No one wants to sit next to a stranger during public transit, but sometimes that's just the way the cookie crumbles. Every time I swallow my pride and get on another Megabus, I pray that no one sits next to me. And I pray even harder that if I do have to share a seat, it isn't with a gum chewer or a crying kid or crying gum-chewing kid. But I understand that when it's completely full, I have no choice in the matter.

'You are charging way too much': 20+ Choosing beggars whose entitled ends know no bounds

There are persons in this world who want far more than they would ever have to give — and they still want more than that. These entitled "choosing beggars" want everything for nothing and won't settle for anything less. They can be encountered in the marketplace of the face-books and lurking in the corners of Craig's list. It's highly likely — especially if you're an artist or freelance worker — they'll barge their way into your DMs and demand a free commissioned piece.

Guy makes calculated purchase for wife's expensive smart watch, buys her a color she doesn't wear

There's something to be said for trying — but the last thing you want to do with a half-baked gesture is expose how little you listen to (or care) about your partner's wants and wishes. It doesn't take that much time or great observational skills to take note of the things that your partner enjoys; one might hope that, through general time spent together, it's something you'd just naturally and innately come to know.

I say this despite myself having the observational skills of a deaf bat and the propensity to make a color "work" for a deal. Yet, even I know that my girlfriend loves the color green (everything we own is the same damn shade of it) and wouldn't be caught dead wearing silver-toned jewelry.

Well, this guy missed the memo when he elected to go for the deal and nab his wife a silver Apple Watch; his wife's distaste for a silver tone would soon cause a rift between the couple when she accused him of deliberately ordering a color she wouldn't like. Now, I'll default to Hanlon's Razor here and say that the wife's accusation isn't necessarily fair, for you should "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity," — granted, there's a fair amount of stupidity going on here; it's also definitely not the first time something like this has happened.

It's fair to say that saving money and being frugal is important when considering the family's finances — but talking about replacing an Apple Watch that's "a few years old" solely because of the battery life makes me think finances are of little concern here…

This guy needs to get to the heart of the issue and sort out why his wife is feeling this way, because it's certainly not an isolated incident.

'Have you tried wearing a shirt and a tie?': Random unhinged stranger accosts job-seeker in blistering rant, internet divided

Receiving unsolicited advice from random strangers always leads to an unsavory interaction…

This user posted to Reddit to explain their most recent run-in with an aggressive stranger who had some unwanted advice for the OP. While the OP was searching for a new job and weathering the stress of interviewing, they decided to grab a meal with a friend. But suddenly, a random stranger walked up to the group and said, "Have you tried wearing a shirt and tie?"

From there, the conversation got explosive. OP was not happy to hear this during such a stressful time in their life, and completely flipped out. After posting about it to Reddit, commenters chimed in with their own opinions about how people should dress for job interviews. Is it ok to dress how the workplace dresses, even if it's casual? Or should people always wear suits or dresses to interviews, even if that tradition is kind of old? Commenters were completely divided - and not just by age, as some older people sided with the OP. Keep reading about this dramatic encounter below.
