Nuclear Revenge: Vengeful Scorned Woman Gets Revenge on Her Cheating-Thieving Ex, Resets All His Debt

This woman went to check the joint account she held with her boyfriend after catching him cheating the night before to her horror he had cleaned out the entire thing. To add insult to injury, essentially all of the money in the account was hers which made him not only a cheater but a thief too.

This thread was posted to Reddit's r/ProRevenge subreddit by user u/Revolutionary_Ant209 who shared the story of her absolutely brutal revenge.

See, the thing was, her ex held a lot of debt. Debt recovery was also the industry she held a lot of insider knowledge in. She had previously used that knowledge to help him escape his debt, but that same knowledge helped her plant the seeds of her revenge

The thing is, in both the US and UK, paying any amount of an owed debt resets the amount of time that debt recovery agencies have to recover the rest of that debt. Debt recovery agencies will often use this themselves to trick debtors into renewing their own expired debt.

With a plan in place, she proceeded with her plan for some nuclear revenge.

Readers loved the story and said so in the comments.

"You learned a lesson, too," said Zoreb1. "No joint account unless married. It is too easy to cut and run otherwise, and nothing can be done. This won't stop an account from being cleaned out but can be brought up in divorce proceedings."

"Yes it was a very hard but important lesson," replied the original poster. "I just wish it hadn't cost me £5k. It was my own stupid fault. I took that lesson to heart."

Greatest Hits: Boss Yells At Intern For Taking Personal Call, Sparks Mass Resignation

This boss laid into an intern when she took a call from her mother telling her that she needed to hurry to the vet to see her dying cat. The boss's reaction sparked a mass resignation within the workplace. Hey, maybe the boss will learn from the consequences of their actions.

This thread was originally posted to Reddit's r/AITA (Am I the A-Hole) subreddit by user pthrowaway98p, who shared their story with the popular sub. They shared their story to see if they were wrong for their part in sparking the mass resignation, sending a company-wide email calling out the boss for their actions. From their description, it doesn't sound like it was a great place to work even before this incident.

Commenters overwhelmingly decreed that the poster completely justified their actions and applauded them for sticking it to their terrible employer.

"NTA and why do people think they're morally obligated to protect their employers from the consequences of the employer's own actions?" commented OsaWyld.

"Also, and I see this a lot in this sub, no OP didn't cause this mass quitting, the company and its treatment of people did," replied tango421 to that comment. "What the boss did was the tipping point, and what OP did facilitated the reaction. [The] root cause was the piss poor behavior of the company. Oh and NTA."
