'As a naturally petty person, I obviously did not let it slide': Woman goes into detective mode to expose annoying bully in her Facebook group, satisfaction achieved

Ooooh baby, if you're in need of a satisfying petty revenge story, then you have come to the right place! There is nothing like a little DIY karma to really get the blood pumping. The OP here took down a Facebook group troll and man, was it *chef's kiss*!

The Facebook group that OP is talking about is not mentioned, but she says that there is a man in the group claiming to be a professional "religious educator," however all he does in the group is spread hate. The woman, having actually gone to school to study that exact profession, calls him out every time. His response is exactly what you'd expect of a bully—filled with empty claims, mean rhetoric, and good old fashion ignorance. However, this doesn't stop OP from calling him out on his BS in the Facebook group.

However, this troll started dragging her name through the mud and one day she decided she had enough. She was actually home sick with nothing to do, so when she say that the bully was trolling her again, she decided to fact check his claims of being a certified religious educator. One of the schools was even one she graduated from and is still close with faculty there. She checked in with the deans of both schools the bully claimed to be from and neither knew who he even was. There was no evidence of him even applying to those schools.

She was going to just hold on to that information and let it slide for now, the bullying had kind of simmered down. But alas, trolls gonna troll, and the second he decided to bully her again, she exposed him and maaaaaan, was it satisfying! If you're going to make fraudulent claims, you probably shouldn't give so much specific information out. Satisfaction achieved—see for yourself below!

A Cringey Collection of 27 Fresh LinkedIn Flops

From CEOs to middle management to worker bees, insufferable LinkedIn content doesn't discriminate… people across the globe are partaking in the ongoing competition that nobody will honestly own up to that is happening across social media platforms. LinkedIn posts are staggeringly phony and say a lot about the people who upload them. Suffice it to say, LinkedIn is the TikTok for grownups, the place insecure people go and dance to a ridiculous tune, airing their laundry to the rest of the world.

The rest of the world then proceeds to pretend to care, and the cycle continues. Unfortunately, for many of us, LinkedIn is a big part of how we run our business, so we've gotta spend a lot of time on there; time that could easily be spent elsewhere, doing more important things. But hey, if you're ever feeling bad about yourself or if you've hit a bump in your career, you can always scroll r/Linkedinlunatics for hilarious, sadly unrelatable content.

‘She thinks she is fixing stuff’: Sister-in-law’s unsanctioned sauce seasoning causes major family schism

For those of us who love some zest and spice, it's always difficult eating at that relative or friend's place who refuses to add even a grain of salt or dust of pepper to their meals. These people have clearly never used their tastebuds before, and it shows. Still, it's worth acknowledging that this is a rather pretentious thing to think; you should always just be grateful that someone cares enough to cook you a meal at all. Cooking is an investment of time, and—unlike some ingredients—time doesn't grow on trees.

Furthermore, no matter how consistently bland your friend or relative's meals are, it would be downright insane to intervene, unasked and unannounced, by taking it upon yourself to sneak into the kitchen and season their meal. That's the kind of thing that might lead to a family schism; it's not really about the sauce—it's about the lack of respect.

'They’re rude from the start': Waitress claps back at diners who complained about her outfit

Working in food service changes your view of the profession forever. Most people only experience restaurants as a guest. You sit down, have a lovely meal brought to you by a waiter or waitress, and don't have to lift a finger as you dine. But once you tie on that apron and work as a server, you're on the other side of the experience. You have multiple tables of people who need you to take their order, deliver their food, and cater to their every whim. It's nonstop! And it basically turns into exercise as you race back and forth from the kitchen to each individual table and back again.

Having a food service job does give you a better perspective on how rough it is to be in the role. But if you've never had to consider the feelings of a waiter, like the women in the post below, you're just thinking about yourself and your own feelings. The table this waitress had to deal with really thought they were entitled to tell her how to dress, and weren't shy about letting her know it.

'I had to get a doctor note': Call center employee has to get approved for longer bathroom breaks, he now relishes the extra time

The concept of monitoring an employee's bathroom breaks is perhaps the biggest waste of management's time. There are probably a million things they could be doing to better improve working conditions in this toxic work environment that is a call center, but no! Here, they decided it was a good use of time to ensure that this Redditor's bathroom breaks never exceed six minutes.

So like any good revel, this guy got a doctor's note for longer bathroom breaks and now takes as much time as he wants, including some extra long mental health breaks labeled under bathroom time as well. What are they going to do about it? The alternative would be going to the bathroom at his desk, which is obviously less than ideal.

'I'm watching my future former director going nuts': Boss has dawning realization at employee's imminent departure

It's amazing how ego-fueled denial can make an employer wait until the last moments of your notice period before attempting to reassign your tasks and replace you. It's probably not surprising, though, given that this exact attitude and lack of care are probably what made you want to leave your job in the first place. Still, this happens time and time again—as evidenced by the sheer number of stories posted about it online. You might even have some stories and experiences of your own of dealing with this exact same thing. (If so, share them with us!)

This employer had a whole entire three months to prepare for the inevitable departure of this worker but chose instead to wait until the very last possible moment to figure things out. The worker offered to create a tell-all document for their job, but that didn't stop the worker from being bombarded by requests by the company's director, who was desperate to get as many tasks finished as possible before the final day.

'My next paycheck was $3500 more': Administration's attempt to dock teacher's hours makes them realize they're not being properly paid

Sometimes, in the effort to save $1, you lose $10—like when you buy an older bicycle, but it turns out, with all the work needing to be done to it, you should have just bought a newer one instead.

Life's like that sometimes, and if you're trying to dig up ways that employees are screwing you to save money, you'd better be darned sure you're not actually screwing them, or else that might cost you—big time.

When the administration tried to tell this teacher that she was having her hours docked for clocking them in before the end of the day, she was furious. Those hours had been for her scheduled prep and were hours that she had well and truly worked. Throughout the course of dealing with it, it came to light that her specific qualifications made her eligible for higher pay.

'Three hours of mandatory OT is requested per week': Employees pushed to work overtime despite working 10+ hour shifts

Here's a friendly reminder that the words "mandatory" and "requested" do not mean the same thing. This Redditor shared that their workplace is "requesting" that all of their employees put in three hours of "mandatory" overtime per week during the month of June. This is obviously a ludicrous concept and not just because "mandatory" and "requested" are not the same thing.

More importantly, one has to wonder if all the employees in the company are expected to put in overtime, wouldn't that potentially amount to the number of hours for a full-time (or at the very least part-time) employee? In other words, wouldn't it just be easier to hire more people? The system of scheduling said overtime hours seems to be a ridiculous waste of time on top of all this as well.
