You see a lot of people who seem to lack some level of self-awareness even while searching for advice on the internet, but some are nearly beyond words. This post by Redditor u/aitasilentdaughter to the popular moral judgment community r/AmITheAsshole is one of the best examples of this phenomenon you'll ever see. The user detailed a major family argument that started between her two teenage daughters and the youngest daughter's cat; it ends, however, with OP's husband helping their middle daughter move out to go stay with her oldest sibling who mysteriously doesn't speak to the family often. What's going on here?
Redditors in the comments were incredibly quick to point out how much detail OP left out of that post; as one said, the argument isn't about the cat at all, but appears to be something that's been brewing for a long time if one argument was enough to make a middle child leave the home and go stay with a sibling (who, again, apparently doesn't speak to her mother often). A lot of people speculated that OP shows serious favoritism toward the youngest child and that everyone else in the home has suffered as a result. Hopefully OP can get her family in order, because it sounds like they're in dire straits.
