'I'm not leaving here without [the console]!': Entitled customer has a screaming fit over video game console, gets booted by security for freaking out

The hype around new gaming consoles can be so outrageous that people feel overly entitled to their new device.

Whenever there's a new console release, there is a lot of hype. Gamers are psyched to try new games or play old ones on a brand new system. And let's face it, these consoles are not cheap whatsoever, with most of them costing hundreds of dollars. That was also the case with this cranky customer, who just wanted a new gaming console the second it was released.

This customer clearly had no idea what he was doing, though. As u/Presspanda told r/TalesFromRetail, if you wanted to get your hands on this one device the day it came out, you had to plan ahead and preorder it. A man who didn't do that showed up to the OP's video game store on the day of the launch ready to buy a new console, and was very upset to hear why he couldn't, in fact, walk out with a brand new one that same day.

Next up, these people shared the most mildly annoying things that happened to them this week.

20+ Flailing felines and overly-curious kitties who got caught by their owners

Even though your cat wants to think they're a fierce and unstoppable predator, sometimes the little guys need to be rescued by their owners (like the fuzzy babies they really are).

House cats certainly think they're apex predators — they're so good at catching their "prey," from odd socks to bottle caps. Maybe that's why it's so darn funny when they freak out over something totally ordinary, like getting momentarily caught in a hanger or vase. Other cats just do not want to wear clothing. Relatable!

Up next, this guy brought in a lot of business for the company he worked at. But when their boss denied them a raise, this person was ready to defend themselves.

'The trip was awful': Entitled choosing beggar refuses to pay her share of spring break trip, ruins whole vacation

We all know that one friend who always manages to "forget" their wallet. Or they seem to take too long to reach for their pocket when the bill comes. These are the folks who ignore Venmo requests and any subsequent reminders. In short, these are the folks you never want to go on vacation with, and if you happen to be stuck on a trip with them, it's best to set ground rules from the get-go.

Otherwise, you'll end up like this friend group. This thread was posted to Reddit's r/ChoosingBeggars subreddit by
u/annoyingfriendon, a high school senior who managed to recognize this entitled choosing beggar's behavior well before the trip and spared herself from having to deal with all her shenanigans. Keep scrolling below to get the full play-by-play on the worst spring break trip since, well, Spring Breakers. When you're finished, here's another post about an entitled boss's tone-deaf message to his employees.

Relatable Coworker Memes for Broke Employees Who Laugh At Their Boss's Jokes In Hopes of a Promotion

Getting promoted equals getting paid more, and let's face it, at the end of the day, we're willing to do more boring tasks for a little more bank. If the negative zeros are smiling smugly at you from behind the screen when you check your account, it's likely you'll pay a little more attention to your boss's dumb, senseless jokes. The fact of the matter is, you could be a great worker, but a promotion comes down to who your boss likes the most.

So if some of us gotta suck up to our boss on the way to the top, that's what we're gonna do. Our coworkers may be giving us the stink eye, but we don't give that much of a hoot. After all, they're not the ones paying our bills; we only got ourselves in this world. Well, we also have memes, which is what we're all adjourned here for, today. So without further ado, scroll on down to check out the relatable coworker memes for yourself.

For more, here are last week's to further get you in the mood.

'They fired me, I ruined their company': Boss refuses to give hard-working employee a raise, so this worker took him to court

Today's lesson is: get everything in writing.

U/Subtosocksfor1 had a great story to share with r/pettycompliance about the time they refused to back down from their boss's demands. The OP's story is especially infuriating because they claim to work for this company and generate a lot of the income. If your employee is really generating 15%-20% of your company's revenue, a raise better be in the works for them! At least this OP seems to know their worth.

However, the OP really did make a huge mistake by not getting their boss to ensure they'd get a raise in writing. Someone's word means a lot, but some people just do not care about having integrity. This boss learned a hard lesson too, because going to court is not cheap! Scroll down to read through this person's excellent tale of revenge.

Next, check out these tiny, minor annoyances that bugged these people enough to share it with the internet.
