Austin Pets Alive has recently gotten some attention on twitter for their unorthodox cat naming. We decided to root through their archives and see what we could find. We weren't disappointed. For a funny cat adoption fail, here's a sorely mistaken animal lover who thought they had found a stray cat.

You're going to want to read these people's eerie, paranormal encounters with the unexplained, with a light on! Maybe those footsteps you heard shuffling down the hallway in the middle of a sleepless night were in fact ghostly, after all.

These aren't your run-of-the-mill cringes and everyday shenanigans. These are botched backflips and full speed upside-down bicycle faceplants that make you go "oooooh." So put on your helmet and get ready for some classic fails. For more people doing stupid stuff, here are some utter morons who ought to have their own Darwin awards.

An AskReddit thread asked people to share their most brutal breakup experiences. The resulting stories are full of pain, and make humans look like cold monsters. Breaking up with someone through text has got to be the lowest blow, and worst kind of result from living in a technologically-infused era where we can avoid the hard face-to-face conversations, by hiding behind our phones.

Well, the cat's outta the cabinet now. The Pakistani minister Shaukat Yousafzai, was the victim of a hilarious face filter fail that ended up being live-streamed. The video capturing the Pakistani minster's fail in all of its glory has since been removed from Facebook, but this is the internet, and every fail is eternal; so we've got a nice YouTube clip of the moment for you.
Nothing quite warms our hearts like those good old social media fails, and this ranks right up there with the best of them.

A good old-fashioned poetic revenge tale right here folks. "Steve" the shady shift supervisor had this revenge coming his way, for sure! Sounds like he was rocking all kinds of red flags at the café. I mean, how exactly was he supporting a family for so many years on that kind of pay, without stealing? Sounds like many folks out there have had their experience working with someone like Steve in this scenario. You know, the longtime employee who makes their seemingly meaningless job aggressively important by getting on everyone's shit all the time.

We always get a kick out of people thinking various satire articles are real. Then after we see how frequently this happens, it kind of starts to make us a little frustrated that there are this many people walking around who can be so easily tricked by a humor article. Anyway, if you wanna see more, here are some times utter nincompoops believed The Onion.

This terribly entitled "Instagram couple" is getting properly roasted after using their platform to beg followers for some money to take a vacation. Yes, these are the times we live in. Grim times, indeed.
According to the GoFundMe page, "We need funds now for preparation as well as throughout our trip. Every dollar, every message, every couch or garden for our tent, any help you can offer will help us go further. We hope you all enjoy and learn with us. TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE."
Yikes. Yikes all around.

Choosing beggars never fail to leave us scratching our heads. Why bother asking what the price is for something when you're coming into the situation with a nice whopping $0 in your mind? In this case, I guess they reached so far as to offer shelling out for the postage fee. My god! How gracious. But seriously, what compels these choosing beggars to do the things they do. And then without fail they'll play the victim and call the seller who's just trying to make money off their skills, "rude." What a nightmare.

Everyone knows you don't just copy and paste from Wikipedia! You've gotta change some of those sentences around and throw in some synonyms to throw em off your trail. Students have always been pretty stupid. Are they getting dumber? Who knows. Maybe these days we just have much better ways of documenting the stupid. For more, here are teachers sharing the dumbest essays turned in by students.

An Australian police officer out in Queensland brought an interview to a stunning halt, to tackle a fleeing suspect. Apparently they cracked an inappropriate comment about a young woman, and were in the process of being chased by the enraged dad.

This guy put his boss on blast over an insensitive and entirely inappropriate situation regarding "slut shaming" his coworker's LinkedIn photo. Can't imagine what this boss was thinking when they dropped that kind of BS into the workplace atmosphere, but this guy's rant does a solid job at deconstructing why it was so damn messed up.

Twitter user @Kane made a list of anecdotes about his garage-meat-hanging, big-cutlery-distrusting government worker father in honor of Father's Day. When he gets to the frat-crashing and explanation of government work, the parallels really start to line up. Here are some silly and wholesome dad moments shared on twitter for the world to laugh at.

As it turns out, working all day at a job that may not be your passion, and then unwinding by reading posts about stupid people, then watching gifs of stupider people nearly getting hit by trains isn't exactly what some would call "encouraging" or "relaxing." So here's a nugget of wholesomeness among all the excitement. For more wholesomeness, here's some wholesome memes to give your day a healthy pep talk.
