'You can't park here': Woman refuses to move her car from neighbor's driveway, neighbor blocks her in

Parking spots aren't always assigned, which can be particularly annoying if people begin parking right in front of your house, blocking your path, due to the fact that it's technically legal. Still, it certainly isn't proper etiquette, and it is usually frowned upon.

In this case, OP lived on a street where some houses had driveways, yet some didn't, meaning that the house owners had to park on the street. OP had just enough room to park both their cars in front of their house, but when a new neighbor moved in across the street, she would park right in front of OP's house, meaning OP would need to find parking elsewhere. Now, that doesn't sound too bad, but when you buy groceries alongside your screaming toddler, and crying newborn the extra mile isn't pretty.

So, OP trotted up to this new neighbor's house, toddler and newborn in hand. This neighbor, who we'll call Brittany, stared OP down, as she asked her to please not park in front of her house anymore. Brittany was unmoved by the kids and OP's request, and told her that she didn't own the street, then slammed the door in her face. OP was absolutely livid, and honestly, it's totally understandable. I would have enacted some petty revenge myself if I were her.

And petty revenge was definitely on cue. Let's just say, Brittany never parked her car in front of OP's house again. Scroll down to find out how exactly OP got her neighbor to fulfill her request to a T. Next, team morale took a nosedive when the company lost two huge clients due to firing an employee.

'Entitled aunt... ended her own financial support': Aunt insults niece without knowing she's paying her expenses

A family dinner accidentally set off a major disagreement between an aunt and her niece

Families: can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em. No one knows how to push your buttons more than the people you grew up with. And unlike most others you meet in life, most of us try to keep the peace with our families, even if we don't always get along. That's why this situation, told by u/wtf_Jana, ended up being so explosive and awkward.

The OP shared this malicious compliance story that took place over a Christmas holiday that the OP and their sister took to the Philippines. This family has their own history between this aunt, who tends to run her mouth until she gets into trouble, and the sister, who wasn't afraid to stand up for herself. It just goes to show that some people don't appreciate what they have until it's gone. I'm sure the aunt wishes she could go back in time and take back the terrible things she chose to speak out loud.

Check out this fascinating story below, as well as the commenters who cheered on the OP's sister. After that, these people shared the realities of working at a company with a hip culture, and a peek behind the curtain reveals that some places are super toxic.

'Watch out for all-take-no-give people': 10+ friendship breakup stories for folks who reached their 'final straw' moment

There is nothing more stressful and complex than a friendship breakup. Sometimes, it's easier to see that you need a divorce than it is to realize you need to cut off a friend. That's because people's definitions of friendship and what it means to be a good friend can vary. There are folks who believe in 100% uninhibited loyalty, there are folks who believe in full transparency even when it's unproductive, and there are folks who simply don't know how to match the amount of effort that the other person is putting into the friendship.

A friendship breakup can manifest itself in various ways as well. Ideally, it's a natural drifting apart, where two people come to a mutual understanding that their presences are no longer serving one another. For the non-confrontational types like myself, this is the ideal situation. However, we all know that the "natural drifting apart" phenomenon is a rare one. More often than not, the reason why the friendship needs to end is because of a lack of mutual understanding. Confrontation, though horrible to experience, is inevitable in the majority of these scenarios.

'[I] gave him fake tickets': Employee gets back at boss by making him fly to another city with fake free concert tickets

Best way to get back at your boss? Give them a fake gift!

Apparently, that's the lesson learned after this Redditor got some much needed petty revenge on her manipulative and problematic employer. First off, let's start with some background on this guy. He forced OP to work 13-hour shifts with no OT while feeding that whole "paying your dues" narrative. Additionally, he would have outbursts, both verbal and physical in the workplace. However, at the same time, he kept pestering OP to get him free concert tickets, since her partner receives deals all the time through his volunteer work.

Well, before she chose to leave her job for good, she decided it was time to gift her boss with those free tickets, except there was a caveat. She claimed she had to get him tickets in another city, which he accepted, but it gets worse. She altered the QR code enough so that the ticket number would not be read. She also knew that her boss would not have enough information to solve the issue on the fly, since he didn't even know her husband's full name and the tickets were under him.

Top 26 Witty Shower Thoughts of the Week

People argue that the best thoughts that come to you arrive when you're running yourself a warm shower, and to be fair, I find that my best ideas are always born during that time. Is there a scientific explanation for this strange phenomenon? We should ask Google. In any case, it's called accurate flashes of genius. It's basically things that are painfully obvious, but that you only question when you're taking a shower. I often wonder what other people think about it. Do they have the same existential crisis that I do? Are they a little more optimistic? Do they like to indulge in some philosophy now and again? So many questions, so few answers.

Below you will find some hilarious shower thoughts that I have scavenged via r/showerthoughts. Turns out I'm not the only one asking questions… or coming to conclusions. Scroll down to check them out. Then, here is a waiter who found out that some customers had called corporate and tried to get him fired after he laughed at their petty demands.

'I'm 45 and still can't tell the time with an analog clock': 35 Captivating confessions that could only be told anonymously

Share your most secret-y secrets with us…we promise we won't tell! Well actually, if you tell your secrets to @fesshole, they'll tell everyone. But your secrets will be anonymous — no one will ever know it's you.

Every day, people from around the world submit their most private secrets to the @fesshole account. These secrets range from tiny to life-shattering, so it's always an interesting read! This week, we've scoured the page for the craziest, funniest, and most intriguing posts.

Even when you're submitting your secret anonymously, some posts have enough identifying details that if the right person stumbled across it, it could change everything. I wonder if people who confess things about their spouses ever get caught — for example, the person who says they try to see how long they can go between showers until their wife catches on. One, that's nasty. Two, that person's wife is totally going to know it's them if she finds the post!

Other folks have confessions about sneaky ways they got back at irritating neighbors or fooled their kids or spouses. My personal favorites are often people who still feel guilty about minor offenses that took place years ago. One person who double-voted in a minor election years ago still thinks about it often, and wrote in to finally cleanse themselves of their sins.

Next up, this person's boss just could not understand why he and his coworker had staggered their schedules — so the boss demanded an immediate change.
