'My Aunt cut the lock off my front gate': Crazy Aunt Karen drives across the country, trespasses, and demands to stay in nephew's guest room

If you see a crazy Karen flailing about in the woods, you know whose aunt this is. This thread was posted to Reddit's r/entitledpeople subreddit by u/Outside_The_Walls, who opened up about a horrific experience with his aunt after she drove all the way from New Jersey to West Virginia while under the influence.

There are several shocking elements to this story, but the one I'm personally fixated on is why this woman randomly kept bolt cutters in her car. It's like she knew she was going to have to trespass like that. Wild! Let this story serve as a friendly reminder that if you are currently being alienated by your entire family, it's probably you and not them. It's that classic "if everyone else is crazy, you're the one who's insane" thing. Keep scrolling below to see the lengths this Redditor went to keep his aunt from spending the night at his place. 'Most people today talk too much and work too little': Application for hotel front desk employee includes ridiculous survey

This job application is nuts! So much so that the applicant posted screenshots of the following ridiculous questionnaire to this thread on Reddit's r/antiwork subreddit under u/MeetTheTwinAndreBen. Highlights include plenty of petty thoughts about young people and their relationship with work, a rebuke of contemporary feelings about the workforce, and clearly biased thoughts about leadership and authority. Just scrolling through these made me cringe.

It just goes to show how insecure employers are these days about hiring employees with the backbone to reject messed up leadership structures. Clearly, the people who drafted this job application need to get over themselves and get with the times. Otherwise, they're never going to fill that position at the front desk. The longer biased surveys like these exist, the more likely these businesses will fail in our contemporary cultural climate. Keep scrolling below to see the survey and to hear what people had to say in the comments. For more content like this, check out this post about people who walked out of their job interviews.

'Am I stupid or just confused?': Funniest Idiotic Memes for People Who Aren't the Brightest Crayon in the Box

It's hard to be smart. Everyone is always trying to act like they have more knowledge in their little heads than they actually do, but what about the regular people who only have a few brain cells left? Sometimes those two brain cells pattering around your grey matter are just struggling to scrape together to find the answer to a regular question. Nope, not a quantum physics question, but a simple question with a simple answer. "Would you like fries with that?" Oh jeez, I don't know. Brain scrambling sometimes turns into a full on brain reboot when you're struggling to find the answer to something. It's not that you're dumb, it's just that everyone else has gotten smarter and things aren't as easy and straight forward as they used to be. We're all out here just trying to do our best, so take all the time you need for that yes/no question.

'We were all shocked': New Owners Lay Off All Employees and Tells Them to Re-Apply For Their Jobs, Nobody Does

This company and its new owners experienced an important lesson when they laid off all of their employees in a cruel and misguided power-play. The issue was… When the time came to decide which employees they wanted to keep, no one had reapplied.

Reddit user u/alldogzzarebeautiful posted this topic to the r/antiwork subreddit. The thread is full of vigor and fury at the injustice that they suffered at the hands of the company's new owners. This is a tactic that companies loved to use when they had more leverage over employees during the long period following the 2008 financial crisis. Now, however, with unemployment low, there is no need for these employees to even reapply. This manipulative tactic has now turned into a gross miscalculation for the company.

Commenters are irate and letting their disdain for the company, and their terrible practices, be well known.

Have you ever experienced something like this during your working life?

No, this is not your neighbor, Totoro — this is your neighbor, Karen, and she thinks she has a greater right than you to use YOUR driveway.
