20+ Signs that mean serious business

It's often said that for every rule, there is a story. Someone, somewhere, did something, and someone else made certain that thing was never going to happen again.

The same is often true for signs; no one goes around posting them at random. No, a sign is only posted with a purpose; just sometimes, it's incredibly vague or confusing as to what that purpose was or why it needed to be a purpose at all.

Well, these signs are here, and they mean serious business. As I look at each of these, I can't help but wonder what the story was behind them. Why were they posted? Who posted them? What was their motivation? For some of these, we'll never know. For others, we probably don't want to.

Overdramatic Memes and Fails For Those Who Overreact

Let's face it: being overdramatic is fun. Why go through the world as a measured, calm realist when you can be over the top about literally everything? If you identify with this sentiment, then these overdramatic memes and fails will speak to you. Sometimes, you just have to blow things out of proportion to get your point across. That's how you get people to identify with your plight. Other times, it's just fun to be ridiculous. Instead of living every day like it's your last, how about living every day like your problems are unique and you have a giant microphone to broadcast your feelings to those around you? I'm just saying: it's not healthy, and it's not self-aware, but it's certainly entertaining. Keep scrolling below to take a look at these memes and fails. 'I wish y'all the best of luck with this bulls***': Coworker leaves iconic message before she quits

Talk about going out with a bang! Some people choose to quiet quit, some people choose to leave a job without revealing their true feelings, and some people elect to be as messy as possible. This coworker went with the latter option and left a glorious goodbye message to the other employees upon quitting their job.

This thread was posted to Reddit's r/antiwork subreddit by u/ThatDMDemigal, and let's just say that there's much to admire about this coworker's powerful exit. There's that old saying about never going quietly, and there's some serious validity to that mentality. If you leave without making your message known and heard, there will certainly be no signs of improvement after you have gone. And even if there are no signs of improvement, at least the message was delivered.

'Light fuse and run': Chaotic man group-texts ALL of his ex-girlfriends on Christmas Day

Part of celebrating the holidays in these modern times is messaging everyone you know on Christmas Day, usually including a bunch of tree and present emojis. As you open your presents and share a meal with your loved ones, chances are you're also getting a bunch of texts from friends and relatives across the globe. One man named Tom decided to take a chance on Christmas Day…by texting all of his ex-girlfriends.

Who knows what Tom thought when he made the choice to create a group chat with every girl he'd ever dated? Perhaps some imbibing was involved? Tom mentions that he's "lonely" and misses the women, a seemingly innocent thing to say. But as his exes start text-shouting at Tom and each other, it's clear that this is not going to be a warm and cozy reunion

In the comments, people definitely sided with one of the exes over all of the others. Most had a pretty sour attitude about being reminded of their jerk ex-boyfriend - understandable!

Check out this wild text chain, then read about one woman who declared she was going to be in first class… to the chagrin of the airline staff and the person sitting in "her" first-class seat!
