Chella Phillips, a resident of the Bahamas, manager of a dog refuge, and self-advertised "crazy dog lady" has taken in nearly a hundred stray dogs in order to protect them from the looming Hurricane Dorian. It's staggering seeing so many dogs in one place, and it's obvious the situation is a complex one, but with the alternative being leaving the dogs out in the storm to fend for themselves, this is a pretty impressive undertaking. In the lighter world of taking in stray animals, we've got a craigslist fail here of a sorely mistaken animal lover who thinks they've adopted a stray cat.

Did she really expect this to work? A stranger trying to make an unsavory trade for a 400 dollar Grand Prix? Aside from the legality aspect, it doesn't seem like accepting 150 dollars worth of sex from a complete stranger seems like a very smart idea. Foreboding Signs That Are Scarier Than They Have To Be
The warning signs here are doing a great job. Like if you find yourself about to swim and then notice a little ol' ENORMOUS SIGN in all caps that says "THIS RIVER IS CONTAMINATED WITH FECAL BACTERIA" you may find yourself a little dissuaded from jumping in. So good job, terrifying signs of the world. Some of these signs don't even know they're scary, sinister or weird, but that doesn't make them not have a threatening aura.
