Man Wins Unconditional Love Of A Goose

Geese have a reputation for not being the most friendly of birds, but in this case, we witness a wholesome and wonderful friendship between man and goose. When he goes to leave and the goose tries to follow him, that really pulled on the heart strings.

Fish Tube Fits Too Well Over Futurama Intro

It's a tube, kinda like a fish highway to let fish over dams. Interesting ecological stuff. But let's be honest it's way too reminiscent of Futurama tubes to pass up this opportunity. At least there's no suicide booth.

Work Karen Makes Everyone Get Up for 4 AM Meeting

Time zones can be a bastard especially when the person you'r dealing with has no concept of empathy. And when the tables were turned, she couldn't even manage to skip happy hour and had to give up. Here's another entitled coworker who demanded a party and took all the leftovers. You can't help but be fascinated by the antics of an entitled Karen, like this one who tried and failed to scam a restaurant.

Text - r/MaliciousCompliance · Posted by u/ZoiSarah 1 day ago Everyone MUST join a work call regardless of working hours? Sure! oc M A company I worked for is global, offices all over the globe. It wasn't often, but it was expected that if you were needed on a call outside of your business hours, you'd make arrangements to join; typically a crazy one- off scenario where they needed to find an urgent timeslot for a single call. It sounds awful but it really was infrequent and most folks were very

2.

Text - In comes a crappy meeting leader (we'll call her Karen) based in Europe, who scheduled a weekly reoccurring call at what would be 4am for west coast USA. I was east coast so 7am for me wasn't bad but I reminded the meeting leader that the meeting made for the next day was outside their hours. She said they'd see the meeting in their afternoon and be able to accept for the next day. It was especially selfish because there were 8 participants from west coast and Karen was the only one in Eu

3.

Text - Karen made a big stink about it to management that they all have to join weekly for this call. Sadly it worked and those poor souls had to join at 4am every Friday. Within only 2-3 weeks someone from west coast became very interested and offered to champion the project and become the leader. Karen was happy to relinquish leadership and be a participant only.

4.

Text - That very same day they took over the project, the reoccurring meeting was moved to normal business hours afternoon west coast time, evening Europe time. Karen was not happy and in the first occurrence kept making remarks about how its very late Friday evening for her whenever she'd answer a question. "my brain is a bit fried because its late evening here but.." or "let's not drag this topic out any further, as happy hour here has already started haha.." On the third week of the reschedul

Text - medicff 2.4k points · 1 day ago That's a good one! It would have been a nice little shot to make her get up at like 2am or even 4am like she did to everyone else

Text - cobhgirl Score hidden · 19 hours ago Happened not to me, but a former colleague of mine. She (based in Ireland) was on a global project, and someone in the team in the US scheduled a really important, mandatory call for 3am on a Saturday for her. It was short notice, so instead of questioning the time, she just decided to get up for it and join. She did ask on the call why on earth they had picked that time, and the person who had scheduled it acted all confused and claimed he consciously

Text - JoeyJoeJoeJrShab Score hidden · 22 hours ago I worked at a place where we had to coordinate meetings between 3 countries. The resulting meeting times were inconvenient for everyone (in other words, times people might be awake, but not at work) instead of convenient for some (that is, during working hours for some, but at something like 2am for others). Because everyone was inconvenienced, we only had such meetings if they were really necessary, and made them as productive as possible so a

Or all the essay style exams where you had to write 4-5 pages but only had from 4 am to 8 am to do it (they release the questions at 04.00, close the submit function at 08.00)... Or that time I had to write a normal exam, and had to find a Chilean university willing to let me write it in their facilities at 4 am whil

There are a lot of unconventional hazards in this world. You wouldn't think that walking into a mine field or falling into a hidden pit could be a legitimate danger, but luckily we have creepy signs that mean business.
