It's annoying being told that you are default a bad parent or are always insensitive, among other things. Thanks to the oversimplification of gender roles in our culture, both men and women have to deal with this kind of stuff all the time. It doesn't matter if things are going well, it's just a matter of time until life hits you with unfortunate moments of failure and chaos. It's best to be able to just deal with setbacks as they come and move on from the productively, but that doesn't mean that chaos can derail people's lives for a little while. No matter how hard you try, the spectacular unfortunate moments will never end.
