Funny and Stupid Times Mistaken People Didn't Understand Satire

Stupid people who believed satire.

With the proper context, satire news websites are incredibly enjoyable sources of entertainment. But if you aren't inclined to get the joke, or just have no idea that what you're reading is supposed to be a joke, you can look pretty damn stupid. There are too many instances of times people didn't understand satire.

Entitled Millennial Gets Kicked Out By Parents, Seeks Free Rent Online

An entitled and unemployed millennial seeks free rent online after getting kicked out by parents.

As far as entitled millennial posts go, this one ranks right at the top. Sounds like someone wasn't ready to take on the big, bad world of people actually expecting money for housing. What a piece of work.

Happy and nice facts about animals and life in general.

We've seen a whole lot of not fun facts that are scary and disappointing. Sure, they're inherently compelling, but it kind of starts to bring down your world view. So here are some nicer facts that are on the uplifting side. For some surprisingly interesting facts, here's a twitter thread on fonts that is actually fascinating. And if you just want to feel smart about the things you already know, here are some of the dumbest things people had to explain to adults.

Dad Wonders If He's Wrong For Making Insensitive Dad Joke

Dad wonders if he is wrong for telling step daughter dad joke about him not being her father.

Dads are gonna make dad jokes. Whether or not anyone likes them is up for debate. This dad found himself in a pickle when he went with his instincts and made a risky joke. As one commenter put it, it's a clever joke, but just maybe the wrong audience.

Insane Parents That Are Off Their Rocker

A collection of funny and insane parenting moments from parents that are out of their mind.

These parents are the very definition of overprotective. They are really living up to that "helicopter parenting" stereotype. Some parents just seem to have a very hard time willing themselves to give their kids space, and not bombard them with spam texts all the time.

Accurate Dog Personalities That Hit Close To Home

Funny dog profiles that look like human stereotypes.

Yeah, they cover just about everyone you'd see on the street. If you see yourself or someone you know in here, don't feel bad, just realize that we're all just a bunch of predictable jackasses.

Disappointing Purchases People Made After Being Misled By Ads

Dissappointing products people bought after seeing an ad for them.

We've all been woo'd by a good commercial at some point in our lives. Especially when you're a kid, Nerf really makes it look like having a sweet blaster will make you the coolest kid on the street. We've all gone crazy at some point for those ads for laser tag games and frozen drink makers, and many of us never learn and keep making stupid purchases far into our adult years. That said, this isn't always our fault, sometimes products are straight up misleading and manipulative.

Guy Lies And Tells Co-Worker That He's Getting Fired

Guy lies to his co-worker and tells him that he's getting fired, when in fact he's just having a pizza party.

Shoutout to the bold employee that shows up thinking he's getting fired, and decides to wear a tuxedo and monocle. Epic. That being said, sounds like the co-worker's "joke" took things a little too far, and had the poor guy convinced that he was getting canned.

Horrible Liars That Got Called Out For Weaving Their Web Of BS

A collection of liars getting called out on social media for trying to spread their stupid BS.

These liars seem adamant in their pursuit toward spreading mindless BS. It's like they have been lying to themselves for so long now, that they're incapable (or just not willing) of being honest with the world around them. Silly fools.

Trucker's Playstation Gets Hacked, So He Makes The Hacker's Account Unusable

Guy's Playstation gets hacked so he changes the settings on the hacker's account to make it unusable.

This guy found out someone had been using his account and charging his debit card, but then realized he had the ability to give the interloper a headache. Hopefully they have some Dutch DVDs to pass the time? It's rare, but sometimes people in these situations actually manage to get the upper hand, like this guy who hacked a scammer.
