'Watch the game somewhere else': March Madness watch party gets cut short when overly-passionate basketball fan goes feral and kicks out his buddy's girlfriend for supporting the wrong team

Everyone gets fired up over March Madness. In a world where sports outcomes can be fairly predictable, college basketball championships combine high pressure gameplay and decision-making skills, with the hotheaded nature of 20-year-old giants who are flooded with testosterone. What could possibly go wrong?
Fortunately for fans, things go wrong ALL the time, so March Madness season is a time of year where underdogs have a chance, bets are high, and people are drunk enough that they'd be willing to jeopardize friendships for the sake of their team. Some fans are so feral that they lose sight of the rules of sportsmanship. One Redditor went completely feral and burned a bridge with a lifelong friend over the stupidest thing ever: a jersey.

u/Afraid_Honeydew_9163 was a huge NCAA basketball fan and he was thrilled that his college team finally made it to the final 16 during March Madness. He decided to throw a huge watch party with all of his alumni friends and encouraged them to invite more people over to enjoy the team's success (or to wallow in the sorrows of loss). Apparently everyone was welcome until one of his college buddies brought over his new girlfriend, who had gone to the school of the team that they were playing agains. Uh oh.

Naturally, being proud of the school she graduated from, she wore a jersey supporting the opposing team and the host of the party lost his marbles and almost immediately kicked them out of the house. Chaos ensued as the girlfriend and his buddy got booted out of the house. Insulted, they thought their friend was TA for kicking them out of the party, what do you think?

'Small win against toxic management': Employee pushed out by toxic manager, exposes that they have been doing manager's work for over a year

Here's a lesson to all managers out there: you don't want to make enemies with the person who has been essentially doing your job for you for over a year. That seems to be what happened in this scenario, which was posted to Reddit's r/MaliciousCompliance subreddit by u/landinthesky

There were many red flags in this toxic work environment. After all, it was a startup so the employee in question should have expected as much. That being said, you would think that a manager of data analysts would be able to, I don't know, read data. I'm certainly no expert in this field, but I'm just going to go out on a limb here and say that this is probably an important skill. Now, the employee clearly made enemies with another coworker at work, and while we can't really weigh in on those complaints since we aren't aware of the details, we can say regardless of that situation that exposing the toxic manager's pure incompetence is a pretty rewarding climax.

'I prepared an entrée, main course, and dessert': Retail employee serves customer 3 portions of petty revenge on a plate following customer's petty promise

Working in retail makes you develop a thick skin, as you have no choice but to deal with people who have obviously never heard the word 'no' in their entire lives, let alone been taught basic manners. Anyone who has worked in customer service of any kind will be sure to tell you that the number of times they've been told, 'I'll never shop here again!' would surmount the times it was actually true. In other words, people like to talk, but they don't put their money where their mouth is.

One customer woke up one morning and chose to be an awful human being, calling OP up and demanding that they send their 'express' order over, pronto. The customer said that he didn't 'care' that OP was short-staffed, and the fact that paying for express didn't mean that the store themselves had any responsibility over when the order would arrive didn't seem to phase him either.

The call ended more or less with some shouting; the customer said he would 'never shop at OP's store again'. OP laughed and hung up. Of course, this customer did indeed try to shop there again, but OP wasn't having it. He delivered petty revenge served in three separate portions, and all of them were absolutely delicious.

'Funniest wrong number text I've ever gotten': 25+ Failed text conversations that will make you facepalm

Texting is a must in these modern times — it's how basically everyone, from teens to the elderly, communicates with each other. That's probably why it's so funny when there are miscommunications over text. It happens a lot! And these fine folks posted their funniest texts online so that we can all share in the hilarity.

One form of trolling that's pretty innocent and silly is people who get messages from wrong numbers and just run with it. They pretend to be the person the text was intended for. And since they're typing it all out, there are no consequences for them! Usually, they'll text for a while before giving up the gambit, and it's wholesome and funny at the same time.

'I've been waiting for someone to bring this up': Dude gets parking ticket for literally no valid reason, fights it in court and WINS

The determination of this guy is genuinely inspiring. Who hasn't gotten a parking ticket that seemed like a BS violation of a BS rule? But what do you do most of the time? You comply and pay it because it simply takes too much effort and work to fight something like that in, you know, literal court. However, this Redditor got a parking ticket for "violation number 27" and kept asking everyone at every step of the process what the heck violation number 27 is. And of course, no one had an answer.

So rather than comply, this guy decided to contest the ticket and thankfully, he was dealing with a judge who seemed to be waiting for this magical day to arrive. Keep scrolling below to learn how this guy pulled it off, what transpired with the verdict, and what violation number 27 actually was supposed to mean.
