Well oh well, this new roommate is coming in hot on the scene with all kinds of red flag behavior. Their reasoning for why they shouldn't be on the hook for paying for the 2/3 rooms that they're occupying is total nonsense. Sounds like the best move here could be to backtrack on this particular new roommate, and get someone new in there.
