'What's the worst lie you were told as a kid?': 30+ Redditors share the hilarious and stupid things their parents clearly lied about

Parents, you may tell a few little white lies to your kid every now and then… but kids don't always realize you're stretching the truth. These Redditors gathered at r/AskReddit to answer the question, "What's the worst lie you were told as a kid?" The answers range from hilarious to head-scratching, and there's quite a variety of lies, too!

I know several people who believed the "chocolate milk comes from chocolate cows" myth. One person here wrote that their sister had them super convinced that they were gotten from the zoo, while another wrote that their mom said police have X-rays to see if you are strapped in to your seat belt. As a kid, you just believe anything!

After you scroll through these wild lies parents told their children, check out this delivery driver who was frustrated to get an order that was nearly bigger than his car.
