'I gotta use the bathroom': Interview candidate learns how low salary is, asks to use the restroom, gets in car, and drives home

I think we can all agree that Jessica is an icon. She found out in an in-person interview that the salary for the position was changed to $3.15 lower than the agreed-upon rate. When she inquired about it, the interviewer said that since she was already here in the office, Jessica "may as well take it."

According to her friend, who shared this thread on Reddit's r/antiwork subreddit, Jessica is notoriously bad at confrontation. She might not have been intending to be an absolute icon-in-the-making, but that's what wound up happening. The next time we're at interviews and are presented with a bait and switch, we should all be like Jessica and ask to use the facilities before getting the heck out of that office as fast as possible.
