'Everyone clapped for her, except for me': Older sister humiliates younger sibling in front of entire singing class

This story makes an argument for why siblings should never take a class together. This thread was posted to Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit by the older sibling, who cannot help but show her mean side even when she tries to portray herself in a good light.

These two sisters chose to take a voice class together (first mistake), and the Redditor refused to acknowledge that they were related (second mistake). By the time her younger sister sang in front of the whole class, she was nervous and made a few mistakes. It should be acknowledged that the younger sister was only 15, the Redditor was 19, and most of their classmates were in their twenties. When the performance was over, everyone clapped except for the original poster, who proceeded to make savage critiques in front of everyone. Criticism is surely necessary for any singer to grow, but this older sibling clearly had no intention of being helpful. The fact that she's still wondering if she's the A-hole in this situation says a lot about her self-awareness. It doesn't sound like she's even apologized yet. Word of advice: don't take a performance-based class with your sibling. It only leads to this.

Monk Exacts Ant-Fueled Revenge on Queue Jumper

You can feel the zen of this meditation retreat washing over you.

Let's face it: no one likes a queue jumper, and watching someone blatantly flaunt breaking this most rudimentary cornerstone of society is enough to boil the blood of even the calmest among us. There's just no excuse for such blatantly antisocial behavior, and you're pretty much going to deserve whatever is coming to you.

It's like those entitled persons who, rather than waiting in the correct lane in rush hour traffic instead, dodge up a side lane only to cut in at the last moment. This not only isn't smart or clever, but it's also actively making everything worse for everyone as the flow of traffic has to halt to dodge your self-centered maneuver. It's not as if everyone else in that queue hasn't thought of doing that; it's an obvious solution, but for most of us, our moral compass — and recognition of our place in the larger puzzle — keep us from committing such atrocious behavior.

Not so for this queue jumper, who quickly got their just desserts delivered to them in the form of dessert for a horde of ants.

October Roundup: The Funniest Halloween Memes, Tweets, and Fails for Millennial Employees

Now that October is finally at its end, here were the best corporate Halloween memes and tweets on the Internet! It may have felt that the corporate Halloween costume jokes went a bit overboard this year, but perhaps that's because so many of us workers are tired and need a laugh. Besides, no one knows how to overdo a joke like the Internet. However, in case you live under a rock and missed some of these, we've got you covered with the following list. Keep scrolling below to take a look, and for more content like this, check out these autumn fails.

Employee's Horrible Boss Denies Request to Switch Shift, Gets Revenge By Working OT Against Company Policy

This supervisor got a rude awakening. His employee, who shared this story via this thread on Reddit's r/MaliciousCompliance subreddit, was promoted to a new job within the company and was required to communicate with HR to facilitate the transition. The employee requested for his supervisor to switch him to a day shift so he could also handle the HR business by the required date. His supervisor denied the request and said the Redditor could answer those emails from home, implying that this work should be completed outside of office hours.

This was a big mistake considering the company had a new policy encouraging employees against working overtime. Well, the Redditor was not going to work for free, so he logged all of his hours when working on those transition emails from home. When his supervisor's boss saw the 20 hours of OT logged, the Redditor explained the whole story and ultimately got those OT hours approved. On top of that, he made his boss look like an idiot. What a dream scenario! For more tales of malicious compliance, take a look at this post about a delivery service worker who refused to be cheated out of the agreed-upon rate.

Police Accuse Delivery Driver of Working For Crime Syndicate Because He Delivered Them a Pizza

Working as a delivery driver can be a hell of an experience. Consistently driving around and interacting with people on the threshold of their homes exposes you to a lot of experiences you'd probably rather not have witnessed; there's a reason why there's no shortage of crazy stories from delivery drivers floating around the wider web.

People are strange, that's just a fact, and the more of them you interact with in a day, the more likely you are to encounter someone in uncomfortably close proximity that you wish you could have stayed the heck away from.

Well, this pizza delivery driver got themselves wrapped up in a situation they could not have imagined in their wildest dreams when they had to make a delivery to the doorstep of a criminal's pad. The interaction would put them right in the crosshairs of the police, who suspected them of being a mule for the crime organization.

This is a lengthy read and quite the tale, so keep scrolling to dig in. For more delivery driver madness, check out this driver who was attacked by a client who was angry they were late.

'Her hair is an eye sore': Bridezilla wants sister to change her appearance so that she's more aesthetic for her wedding photos

Should someone have to change their appearance for your wedding? To what degree? These are important factors that come into play in this thread and are in need of consideration.

This bride, Reddit user u/kjally76, posted her story to Reddit's r/AITA (Am I the A**hole) subreddit, wondering if she was in the wrong for the events that had taken place leading up to her wedding. She has been planning every last detail with careful thought but has met resistance in her carefully laid plans when it comes to her younger sister.

This sister is determined to maintain her appearance and refuses to change it in the ways that u/kjally76 is requesting. Her obstinate refusals have been a source of frustration for the bride, who is threatening to "Hulk Out" at any moment.

There was an issue with the dress color, then an issue with the hair, and at every step of the way, the younger sister had continued to refuse. Some of the comments the bride has made in the post and her general attitude has led Redditors to decree that she is the "A**hole" here. I would hold that the younger sister's refusal to cooperate in any reasonable way means that they both are in the wrong or that "Everyone Sucks Here."

What's your read? Let us know!

Application to Work at a Cat Café Requires Hand-Written Cover Letter and Ridiculous Creative Project

Can you imagine actually applying to this? This literal minimum wage job requires the most extensive application process, which includes three letters of recommendation, a hand-written cover letter/essay, and a weird creative project to show your entrepreneurial spirit. This thread was posted to Reddit's r/antiwork subreddit by u/PrintmakerDay, who came across the application online.

Let's take a moment to unpack this application process for a bit longer. Firstly, are we serious about having to provide THREE letters of recommendation? Colleges don't even require that, yet a cat café does?! Next, there's the hand-written essay. This is the Digital Age, not the Pleistocene Era. Who are these owners? Now, onto the creative project. The prompt is so abstract and unfocused it makes me question the sanity (and sobriety) of the person who wrote this. Keep scrolling below to have a look for yourself! For more job application madness, here are a series of anecdotes about folks who walked out of their job interviews.

Entitled Wife Skips Family Funeral After Petty Mother-in-Law Purchased First Class Seat for Her Husband and Economy Seat for Her

Sure, this mother-in-law was petty, but this woman made it a whole lot worse. This thread was posted to Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit by u/Sadandexhuasted133, and here's the thing: I too would be sad and exhausted if I had an evil mother-in-law who seems to be constantly looking to start drama. That being said, this weekend was simply not about this woman's rivalry with her mother-in-law. It was, however, about her husband's loss, and she completely failed to recognize that.

People in the comments section were quick to say that everyone sucks in this scenario. I take issue with that. Sure, Monster-in-Law certainly could have gotten two economy tickets or two first-class tickets if she was feeling extra fancy. However, as the Redditor herself acknowledged, her petty behavior was nothing new and could easily have been predicted. So the original poster's decision to opt-out of supporting her husband over a stupid plane ticket says a whole lot about the kind of person she is. Keep scrolling below for the full story!

'I logged back into her account...': Dude devises ridiculously petty revenge, involves trolling ex's Netflix account

It's all Netflix and —no— chill over here. In a hilarious act of petty revenge, this dude decided to troll his ex's Netflix account in order to mildly inconvenience her life and exact a little revenge on her for cheating on him all those years ago. That might be the most surprising thing about this post; it's not as if they broke up yesterday. The user writes that she dumped him "A few years back," which means he has been holding onto this desire to get even for some time.

We've probably all had that person or that relationship that took ages to move on from. These things stick with us, and sometimes they form deep wounds that never truly heal. After all, all the lessons, experiences, and people we've met make us into who we truly are.

Keep reading to see this thread, as it was posted to Reddit's r/pettyrevenge subreddit. For more petty revenge, check out this guy who ruined his brother's relationship after his brother proposed at his wedding.

Storage Facility Obstinately Charges Guy for Non-existent Box, so Guy Demands It Back

When facing an irrational opponent, it's impossible to beat them with rational thought —You need to meet them on the groundless battlefields of baseless reasoning. Anyone who has met an obstinately incorrect opponent has probably learned this lesson — there is no winning, so you must lose together.

That's exactly what this Reddit user, u/pappagall0, faced when they became lodged in debate with a storage company over the existence of a mysterious eighth box that the storage company insisted on charging him for. u/pappagall0 writes that the surplus they charged him was "quite a lot," but, despite his protests and repeated phone calls, they continued to charge him for this package.

When it came time for them to collect their belongings, they began insisting that the storage facility return this extra 'Schrodinger's box' that they had so diligently been charging them for, which, of course, they couldn't find.

'He decided to miss his shift as a way to teach me a lesson': Wife forgets to iron husband's uniform, he lashes out

Whatever happened to doing your own chores? This guy clearly couldn't fathom the idea of ironing his own uniform. Instead, he had to throw a fit when his wife said she didn't have time to do it herself. She shared her story via this thread on Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit, and let's just say that the comments section was pretty savage toward the husband.

To clarify, the Redditor is a stay-at-home mom with three children and plenty of house chores already. She even said she likely wouldn't have time to iron her husband's uniform when he first asked her to do it, and he refused to listen. If someone asks you for a favor and you say you won't have time to help, they literally can't get mad when hours later, you weren't able to help just like you said. It gets worse, though. This guy refused to go to his shift so he could "teach [his wife] a lesson" about respect. No, this isn't a tale from the 1950s. This happened in 2022. If this man-child isn't careful, he may lose his job and his wife.

Worker Manipulates Meddling Micromanager Into Annihilating Their Own Work

There's nothing more satisfying than watching the slow-motion train-wreck implosion of a deserving person destroying themself. This micromanaging boss was manipulated into doing exactly that when they tried to pick apart their own work, somehow without even recognizing that it was their own.

As commenters have pointed out, doing shift work where the schedule was made by a different person every week would be absolutely maddening. There would be zero consistency with when you were scheduled, and requesting special dispensation to work around other life obligations would be a disaster. How would you possibly be able to communicate with each of them the nuances of your life? I've set rosters, and it's challenging enough to keep track of people's availability doing it week in and week out.

This sounds like an incredibly toxic way for a workplace to operate, and it's no wonder that people like this manager managed to thrive.

Keep reading for the screenshots. For more, check out this worker who was reprimanded for leaving early and so decided to go entirely off-grid while outside of working hours.

'I use AI to do my job': Guy gets demoted, demotes his workplace and uses AI to complete his work

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you —at least sometimes. It doesn't take one long to come up with multiple instances where following this ethos to the letter would create some incredibly unfortunate situations. Well, when this guy was demoted and forced to work for a "micromanaging sociopath," he decided to demote his workplace and automated his job with an AI; the work was still being done —but he didn't have to do it.

Honestly, this still sounds like a win-win situation to us. If the work was still being done, but they weren't able to discern a difference, then he's effectively acting as a contracted middleman for the operation. There are heaps of businesses that would contract out this service for (probably) far more than he is being paid.

This story was shared by Reddit user u/MediumAd2332 to Reddit's r/MaliciousCompliance subreddit with the title "My boss blacklisted me, so I use AI to do my job for me."

Funniest Memes for People Who Stopped Glamorizing the Grind and Started Normalizing the Good Life

We've all seen those Instagram motivators who are obsessed with working so hard that they have no life and have no friends. Sure, a good work ethic is important to have in your life, laziness doesn't really get you anywhere, but worshiping "The Grind" over everything else is a little bit unhinged and psycho. When are you even going to be able to spend all that money you're making if you work 8 days a week and all of your waking hours are spent on full blast.

Some civilized folks these days have tuned out the chattering, creatine-fueled noise of the hustle culture people and have learned to adopt a more sustainable way of life, which certainly does not involve the grind. For example, it's important that we all enjoy a cup of coffee in the garden every now and then, or maybe we get more than 7+ hours of sleep at night. Now that's the kind of lifestyle I can get behind.

The Best New Memes, Tweets, and Hot Takes About Toxic Workplaces

Some will make you laugh, others will make you think, and all will make you question why we work like this. Or perhaps why we work. Period. Full stop. These memes, tweets, and hot takes were compiled from Reddit's r/antiwork and r/me_irl subreddits.

It's good to question why things are the way they are, even if it's just for humor or a punchline. Without those observations, we'll never be able to, I don't know, effectively change our collective approach to that thing called work. Some of these, such as the tweet about being a tech bro vs. being a medical assistant, are infuriating. Others, like the Halloween costume memes satirizing horrible bosses and even more horrible hiring managers, will never get old to me. Keep scrolling below and share your thoughts! Howdy, howdy, howdy y'all! Hope yer all having a rootin' tootin' week. We know it ain't easy out there being a cowboy/cowgirl, but somebody's gotta do it. Entitled Mom vs. 'Unreasonable' Teacher: Mom wants son to miss test for a pep rally, teacher refuses

We love when a teacher puts their foot down, but at what cost? This thread was posted to Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit by u/Swimming_Sugar3361, who shared her story about the trials and tribulations of getting her son to miss class to participate in the high school pep rally. Her older son, who helped organize the rally, injured himself and could no longer dance. Mommy seemed to think it was a great idea to have her younger son participate, clearly against the older son's wishes. She got everyone else involved in the pep rally excited about it. This woman is a Stage Momster in the making.

Her big obstacle, however, was the teacher who had assigned a test for the 6th grader the same afternoon as the rally. We appreciate teaching your students to follow up on certain commitments, and we believe this Mom needed to be humbled slightly. However, I'm not sure this was a battle worth choosing. The kid's going to miss the test no matter what and it's only 6th grade. You get the sense that both adults in this situation were on power trips. Keep scrolling below for the full story! 'Update: We argued. I quit': Boss insists worker leave dying girlfriend and return to work, worker quits

This worker found themself faced with pushback from their boss when they decided to take a leave of absence to spend time with their girlfriend, who is in hospice care with not much time left. After "a few weeks" off, their boss began repeatedly attempting to get them to come back, texting them 13 times in the course of a week, insisting that there was "no way" someone could be in hospice for that long.

They go on to express in their original post (items #1-9) the pressure they felt, how their life was falling apart, and how they felt they had no avenues for recourse; They work at a small family-operated business that has no HR department for them to turn to, leaving them at the whims of the owners.

They returned to share how things had progressed in an update post (items #10-19). Their boss continued to contact them, and the situation escalated, prompting the employee to quit immediately.

Fresh Memes and Tweets to Keep You Feeling Positive During a Stressful Work Week

When you're in the thick of the work week, it's hard to feel like there's a silver lining. Any positive spin on things can feel like a bit of a stretch. However, now that it's almost Friday and there's a light at the end of the tunnel (albeit a temporary one considering that next Monday is right around the corner), it's easier to find those laughs…or at the very least, to laugh at yourself. These memes and tweets, which were compiled by @ObsessedWithAnimals, will hopefully do the trick and provide you with some much-needed levity. If not, at least we will have given you something to send to your friends or your work bestie to make you seem cool and funny. We will gladly provide that service for you. Scammer Pretends to be CEO in Failed Phishing Attempt, Gets Trolled

Phishing is a very real threat —so why does it seem so ridiculous every time you see a story about it? Every time it makes news —or happens in your own workplace— the story is always somewhere along the lines of "Bob from accounting bought $100,000 of gift cards for fake CEO" or "Deborah from HR gave all the company's passwords to someone impersonating her boss."

You always walk wondering just what in the heck these people were thinking… How on earth did they fall for that?

Usually, phishing attempts are clear and broadcast. There's broken English combined with general misattribution of workplace phrases, and it feels like something Nathan Fielder would have attempted to produce as a business venture. "Hello, it's me, your CEO. Sorry I died. I miss you so much." (Reference for those wondering.)

Yet, people fall victim to these phishing attempts every day… But this guy sure wasn't one of them.

Keep reading for the screenshots of this exchange. For more, check out this guy who reported all of the IT Director's emails as phishing attempts after he was forced to endure a 2-hour training as punishment for clicking a fake phishing email.

Brother Proposes at Guy's Wedding, Guy Ruins Brother's Whole Relationship

Mess with the bull… Get the horns.

There is little love lost between these two brothers —and absolutely not an ounce of chill either. From a complicated childhood to an entirely hateful adulthood, these brothers have been at each other's throats. That's why when Reddit user u/Neither-Glove-4355 discovered that his brother "Todd" was planning to propose during his wedding, he made all attempts to put it to an end.

When he brought it to their coddling parents' attention, he was met with inaction, resistance, and excuses —ultimately meaning that the proposal was allowed to go ahead.

Lo and behold, "Todd" proposed during u/Neither-Glove-4355's wedding DURING the father-daughter dance. All bets now off —u/Neither-Glove-4355 devised the perfect way to exact diabolical revenge.

Professor Fails Students, Students Tell Dean, Dean Fails Professor

As a wise man once said— "There's always a bigger fish." But despite originating from one of the greatest thinkers of our time, that concept —that idea—has prevailed throughout human existence. There's always a higher power that we need to call to, no matter who we are: Such as a king—who holds supreme executive power because some watery tart threw a sword at him.

The idea of being beholden to something greater was something that this humanities professor had forced down their throat after they decided to fail half of their class on a machiavellian final project that, bizarrely, seems like it was inspired by the Stanford Prison Experiment. The Standford Prison Experiment isn't supposed to be an inspirational tale to teachers for their next group project; It's supposed to be textbook for what not to do for an ethical experiment. Although, the idea of likening the SPE to group projects is extremely poetic.

Anyways: Teacher fails students, students get dean, dean steps in and sorts it out.

Keep reading for the screenshots and reactions. For more, check out this student who reported their professor (hmm, sounds familiar.)

Chaotic Father Turns His Son's Crayon Drawings Into Realistic Renderings and the Results are Haunting

Whenever a father cultivates the passions of his children, people are usually in awe— that's just good parenting. One father, a graphic designer by trade, encouraged his son's quirky drawings by turning simplistic, disproportional, animal sketches into what looked more like the real thing… at least sort of like the real thing.

Tom, the dad, asked his son to draw cute little animals for him, and using big-boy tools like Photoshop and AfterEffects, he created distorted, contorted, weirdly haunting versions of the drawings. It's entertaining, to say the least, and surely a fun activity to take part in with your child, however, the resulting images are not only cursed, but they're chilling. Some of the animals are completely unrecognizable, and without the help of the comments section, they're unidentifiable. But that doesn't stop Tom. He's created hundreds of these renderings and is pressing on, hopefully working on improving his child's motor skills with the goal of improving animal proportions.

Or maybe it's just art at this point.

Painfully Relatable Memes and Fails That Are Definitely Me Even When I Won't Admit It

There's relatable and then there's "wow, that's so me I can't even function now…."

These memes and fails, which were compiled from top trending posts on Reddit's r/me_irl subreddit, only further prove that the line between feeling seen by a meme and feeling personally attacked by one is a very, very fine line. Sometimes, we come across posts on the Internet that prove we're not alone and that we're not the only weirdo in the world who does certain things (you know, like quietly judging someone's phone battery when they send you a screenshot). It's always comforting when these memes bless our feeds. However, then there are those memes that feel like the universe is personally calling you out for being a mess and a half (for instance, memes about late-night panic googling are triggering for me because, well, I do an unhealthy amount of that). Regardless, we hope these memes are more comforting than shaming, but just remember how thin that line can be. Keep scrolling below and for more content like this, check out these disastrous design fails.

A List Of Compelling Memes for Those Who Have Abominations As Coworkers

There isn't a more hateful sound in the world than the resounding ting's of your alarm clock in the morning, alerting you to the fact that you have yet another vexing day to confront. Once upon a time, perhaps your alarm clock was one of your favorite songs, but it's a time of the past (We've all been there, and there need not be further explaining as to why we don't do that anymore). Today you pick the chime that is between the least and most annoying (Yin yang, people, balance is necessary). After shutting off that damned alarm, you either scroll through your phone for a bit or groggily drag yourself out of bed to go brush your teeth and start the rest of your dull morning routine. Ah, to exist. That every morning is the same —what a depressing revelation; time seems to stay chillingly still, and yet before you know it, you've been at your current job longer than you'd like to admit. One of the most irking parts of said job is the people you are surrounded with, AKA coworkers. You may have a soft spot for a chosen few, and the rest can f*ck right off. These memes have a little bit of both. If you resent your boss as much as you detest some of the people you work with, feel free to check out this list of entertaining memes.

Unhinged Manager Makes Servers Sign Ridiculous NDA That Bars Them From Gossiping For 25 Years

Does this horrible boss seriously think this NDA is enforceable? We think not. This thread was posted to Reddit's r/antiwork subreddit by u/throawayeas989, who opened up about the absolutely crazy non-disclosure agreement they received from their boss stating no employee can talk about anyone or anything related to the business for the next quarter of a century.

Does this person think they're running a restaurant or a high-stakes military operation? Not only is the 25 years portion of the NDA ridiculous, but also the whole contract consists of poorly defined terminology that will likely make it impossible to enforce. Some of the Redditors in the comments section got into a heated debate about what was the right advice for the original poster (the UK lawyer who advised to sign the document and forget about it is insane…). Our hot take is to stall signing the document and start looking for new jobs immediately. This manager is clearly either crazy or crazy paranoid

Boomer Bummer: Funniest Memes About the Greatest Generation Who Will Always Need Help Attaching a PDF to an Email

Every generation has their quirks, problems, and stereotypes —but the collective technical illiteracy of an entire generation takes "problematic" to a whole new level. Sure, they didn't grow up with technology, but it's been around long enough to figure it out or at least attempt to learn how to use a computer, right? WRONG. What button did you push this time, grandpa?

Just because someone is a CEO of a company, doesn't mean that they should have any idea how to complete the subordinate functions of a lowly 20-something year old intern. It's not a Boomer's job to adapt, learn, and figure out the world around them, it's their job to run this gosh dang country without ever knowing a single thing about how it functions. So if your boss ever asked you to attach a PDF to an email for them or if you've had to set up the computers of all of your older family members, these memes are for you.

Coworker's Wife Floods Couple's Bathroom, Mad They're Upset

It's important to take ownership of your mistakes — even in the most embarrassing situations. The wife of a coworker failed to do so when she flooded this couple's bathroom when she tried to flush a feminine hygiene product, and the resulting altercation created a growing rift between the two parties.

We've all been there: You're the guest at someone's house, and — after taking care of your business — you go to flush. Except, the contents of the bowl don't disappear like they're supposed to — instead, the water begins to rise. You panic and search franticly around the room for a plunger as the water (still rising) begins to reach critical levels — threatening now to spill over onto the floor. You say a silent prayer — contemplate the name you'll take when you enter Witness Protection — and wait for a miracle to occur.

At this point, one of two things happens: The toilet overflows, or the water stops just below the rim. Whatever the result — your actions now decide the content of your character. Do you fess up? Or do you hope that you can escape, leaving the perpetrator forever a mystery?

The coworker's wife chose the latter, and it backfired when the culprit was easily deduced. Now she's so embarrassed she's playing victim to try and retain a little sense of dignity. That's my take, anyways.

What do you think? Who is in the wrong here? Keep reading for the screenshots. For more coworker-AITA shenanigans, check out this coworker who ironically reported themself to HR for stealing lunches.

15 Staggeringly Choosy Beggars Who Demanded All For Naught

There are people on this earth who possess a complete inability to conduct themselves rationally. If they're getting a service performed for a bargain out of goodwill, they're going to want to negotiate a better rate. Even when they're getting handed something for free, they're going to feel as if they're entitled to more.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that we're raised to expect more out of our lives than the world can reasonably deliver—but these choosing beggars sure do take that "I am the main character" vibe to a whole new level.

Keep that mouse wheel spinning—and thumb a' scrollin'—to see this collection. For more choosing beggars out in the wild: Check out this collection of entitled people who rode a big stupid wave of arrogance.

The Most Jaw-Dropping Tinder Fails This Week (October 25, 2022)

Here's to another wild week on Tinder! You have to hand it to these people, I suppose. They never fail to be interesting. In a cesspool of desperation, you have to be special to catch someone's attention. Even if you took a big swing and a miss, at least you swung the bat. These audacious individuals will be joining our unofficial Tinder Hall of Fame…if not for their skills, at the very least for their audacity. Keep scrolling below to see how they did it! 'I'm sorry but ten kids is a big cost on our wedding budget': Drama ensues when bride invites only some of her religious sister's kids

Does it make you a bridezilla to not invite all 10 of your sister's children?

This thread was posted to Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit by u/Bright_Physics_8375, who shared her family drama with the ruthless judges of the AITA community. Essentially, she was planning her wedding on a tight budget and asked her religious sister if she could invite her three oldest kids rather than all ten of them (the youngest of which is only a year old). Of course, this backfired and caused a whole lot of unnecessary drama in which the sister claimed that the Redditor was being a bridezilla and did not approve of her religious beliefs and lifestyle.

Our hot take here is that the sister's argument is a big stretch. It's the bride and groom's right to decide if they don't want a wedding full of children. Maybe this could have been communicated better, but you cannot expect to have that many offspring and assume they can go wherever you go. Keep scrolling below for the full story! Uncle Accidentally Unalives Nephew After Their Pets Fight, Wonders if He's Wrong

This uncle engaged in a bit of a disagreement with his nephew at their family friend's place, which resulted in the "accidental" un-aliving of the nephew when the pair lost control of their pets. Now he's wondering how to handle the situation and trying to figure out if he is the a-hole for how things played out.

Now it's important to take a look at the ethical and moral considerations at work here. For instance, why chase after your nephew with your retired ex-military behemoth of a pet if you weren't intending to do him any harm? It's one thing to claim a lack of intent, but actions speak louder than words, and it really seems like he f**ed around and found out here. Huge negative points here, too, for both kinslaying and attacking an envoy, both big no-nos in the Westerosi moral code.

What's your take on the situation? Keep reading for screenshots of the thread below.

'I'd booked the seat and wasn't going to move': First class train passenger refuses to move for elderly woman

This woman reserved an individual first-class seat on a UK train that turned out to be priority seating for the elderly or disabled. Drama ensued when a 60-year-old woman without a specific seat reservation marched onto the first-class car demanding to have that priority seat.

This thread was posted to Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit by u/Optimal_Promotion879, who acknowledged that the train system in the UK is, to put it lightly, complicated. The fact that you can book a ticket but not be guaranteed a specific seat is one flaw, but the fact that they would give the Redditor a priority seat (which she insisted she was not aware of prior to boarding the train) just goes to show that this system is complete chaos. While I too feel bad for the older woman, if the system's rules are clear, she should have known that no seat is guaranteed (and certainly not a first-class one…beggars can't be choosers, lady!). However, at the end of the day, the real A-hole here is the train booking system. In what world is this allowed to happen?!

Guy Tries to Talk His Way Into Unavailable Hotel Room, Won't Take No For an Answer

In contrast to the other interactions we see posted online by customer service persons, this one is pretty innocuous. It does a great job of providing insight into the sheer number of bizarre interactions you have — week in and week out — when you work in a public-facing role. Not all of them are Karens losing their marbles over the slightest inconvenience — but they will still leave you scratching your head and wondering what in gods name you have just witnessed.

I used to sell bikes, and some of my favorite interactions would be when guys would flat-out lie about their height to the point of delusion. This would happen far more often than you might expect, and some of these guys would have literally convinced themselves that they were taller than they actually were. I know my height down to tenths of an inch, so don't claim to be taller than me when I can see the top of your head. Of course, we'd chuck these guys onto the size of bike that they "claimed" they were, and it would soon become wildly apparent to everyone involved in the process that this wasn't going to be a good fit. At this point, I would come up with some far-fetched reason as to why this size wasn't working "for their body type," and we'd get them onto the correct size.

Again, this whole interaction happened far more often than it had any right to, and there's an endless list of crap like this that you just learn to deal with. Everyone has their quirks and idiosyncrasies, and sometimes they manifest themselves in really strange ways.

'I'm ready to fire pretty much all of you': Abusive restaurant owner sends wild, unhinged messages to staff

This restaurant owner is the definition of evil. While there are plenty of horrible bosses in this world, it's hard to beat this one, who is a literal parody of herself at this point.

This thread was posted to Reddit's r/restaurant subreddit by u/Ale-Pac-Sha, who shared a series of group text messages from the restaurant owner to her staff. Let's just say that with each message, it gets increasingly unhinged. One person pointed out in the comments section that she openly admitted to planning to commit wage theft on top of numerous other problems from crazy revelations to threats to abusive and offensive rhetoric. Obviously, no employee deserves to be treated this way, except for maybe the owner herself. Here's hoping her staff leaves her high and dry, but not before getting some sweet revenge. We've seen plenty of instances where employees were able to stand up for themselves. Like this post about an employee who found a loophole in his company's sick day policy. 'I ruined his life': Boss suspends employee for injuring themselves, employee ends their business

Manifesting traits and performing actions that squarely fall within a "Chaotic Evil" alignment is not a great business strategy. You're going to open yourself up to all kinds of legal and moral pitfalls that could result in your business being "canceled" or forced to close by authorities. Surprisingly, all too many owners think they're the "big bad" of a Dnd campaign and have become accustomed to feeling immune to consequences within their spheres of influence. Well, the party comes for you eventually, and if you F around with your workers for long enough, you're going to find out.

After being suspended for "negligence" for sustaining an on-the-job injury, this worker, Reddit user u/Top_Professional_69, had tolerated enough. They reported their boss to every relevant authority they could possibly think of and brought the fact that they had been illegally manufacturing products into the light. Of course, this supervillain of a boss had also forgotten the most important rule of breaking rules — don't break multiple rules at once, or you run the risk of getting caught for the more serious offense because of the more mundane.

Funniest Memes About Dating App Fails That Have Us Thinking We’re Better off Alone

Swipe left, swipe left, swipe… nope, still left. Dating apps are 'filled with opportunities' - yeah right. Filled with opportunities to get kidnapped, maybe. What can we do, though? It's so hard to meet someone in person, it's like dating apps are basically the only option. Sure, there are those few lucky ones but for the rest of us folk, we got to hit the swipes. And people are… well, interesting, intriguing, and also - completely insane. There are those who have a God complex, those who think sending unsolicited pics of their genitals is a winning strategy, and those who have a seriously dangerous amount of ego. And that's just the texting part - occasionally we get to meet up with some of these peeps, and then they have the opportunity to show us their crazy in person. What can we say, it's a dangerous world out there. For those who have had recent run-ins with the crazies in question, these memes are for you.

Disastrous Design Fails That Only Make Things Worse

Who signed off on these? Please come forward now. Seriously.

These wretched fails were compiled from Reddit's r/BadDesigns subreddit, and they truly left me wondering "who? what? when? where? and why?" We understand that people make mistakes and that flaws in designs are natural as we are only human. But STILL! How did some of these happen? Whether it's moving letters around so they're completely unintelligible or building a crosswalk that leads in a wildly different direction, if you're paying attention to your surroundings, you'll see that design fails are everywhere. The best is when they do the exact opposite of what was intended. Sometimes, there's literally nothing you can do but laugh at the baffling idiocy of these "artistic choices," and here at FAIL Blog, we've got you covered.

'Please let him know [...] she'd be his personal bachelor party if he was so inclined': Toxic ex reaches out to groom the night before his wedding

This marriage feels over before it started! What happens when your toxic ex with whom you have a dark and twisted history reaches out to your brother the night before your wedding? And what happens when your brother tells you about it and it causes a rift in your new marriage immediately after the ceremony? I'll start by saying I am so glad this is not my story.

This thread was posted to Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit, and the comments section got a bit heated about who was to blame here. Sure, actions have consequences but this guy had blocked this very damaged relationship from his life for over two years. For his brother to share that information about "Big Shirl' on the day of the wedding has got to feel like an act of either extreme recklessness or extreme sabotage. Either way, it's not a good look. One Redditor wisely made the comparison between this scenario and tempting a recovering addict. That certainly does not paint a promising picture of the brother.

We've seen plenty of instances of wedding drama. For another one, take a look at this post about a bridezilla who kicked a server out of her wedding.

'You're stealing...': Tech CEO fires two engineers caught working two full-time jobs

A tech CEO reported firing two engineers who were caught working a second full-time job in this LinkedIn post that went viral.

This topic has been trending across the wider web this week as there have been multiple reports from businesses that claim to be firing employees who are working multiple full-time jobs. Notable stories have emerged from the software company mentioned in this thread and from a multinational credit reporting agency that claims to have caught and fired 24 workers who were holding a secret second job. These reports have attempted to "warn" employers of this new trend.

The post elaborates and shares the employer's views on the "moral issues at play" in "'working' two full-time jobs," claiming that the practice was "stealing" from the employer.

The screenshots were posted to Reddit's r/antiwork subreddit, and the Redditors were not shy about roasting the CEO and making some arguments of their own.

Employee Discovers Loophole in Company Sick Day Policy and Enrages Horrible Boss

There's nothing like finding a loophole that your boss can't do anything about! This thread was posted to Reddit's r/MaliciousCompliance subreddit, and we have to give a shoutout to the original poster for not only discovering this loophole and using it to their advantage, but also for standing their ground when confronted by their vile boss.

Essentially, the Redditor first learned the hard way that employees at this company receive one of a maximum of five occurrences (or punishments) for an uninterrupted sick period. However, taking one sick day, coming back into the office, and then taking another sick day if the illness resumes resulted in two separate occurrences. This policy is particularly ridiculous considering three sick days in a row still only translate to one occurrence. So naturally, the next time the original poster got sick, they took the full three days in a row.

What kind of horrible office calls itself a family while instituting punitive treatment for unplanned health issues? That's some corporate America nonsense. For more ridiculous stories like this, take a look at this post about yet another untrustworthy HR employee.
