Should someone have to change their appearance for your wedding? To what degree? These are important factors that come into play in this thread and are in need of consideration.
This bride, Reddit user u/kjally76, posted her story to Reddit's r/AITA (Am I the A**hole) subreddit, wondering if she was in the wrong for the events that had taken place leading up to her wedding. She has been planning every last detail with careful thought but has met resistance in her carefully laid plans when it comes to her younger sister.
This sister is determined to maintain her appearance and refuses to change it in the ways that u/kjally76 is requesting. Her obstinate refusals have been a source of frustration for the bride, who is threatening to "Hulk Out" at any moment.
There was an issue with the dress color, then an issue with the hair, and at every step of the way, the younger sister had continued to refuse. Some of the comments the bride has made in the post and her general attitude has led Redditors to decree that she is the "A**hole" here. I would hold that the younger sister's refusal to cooperate in any reasonable way means that they both are in the wrong or that "Everyone Sucks Here."
