We live in a society.
And in this society, we have some pretty basic rules to follow. Everyone is pretty good at following them. Don't steal from or hurt anyone directly, and honestly you're like 90 percent of the way there.
But as society grows more complex, the more and more laws people deem necessary. There are protected species, various cyber crimes, public indecency rules and regulations that we all need to pay attention to, lest we risk being slapped by the long arm of the law.
And most of us do a pretty decent job of following those more complicated rules. But, being people, we're prone to lapses in judgement or straight up lacking in awareness. How are you supposed to know if right turns on red are okay in the heat of the moment? No one is coming so it seems fine, right?
Most of us aren't out here performing major tax fraud or transporting endangered species, but there's enough chaos in the world that it would be wrong to assume it doesn't find its own way of happening.
And then there are times when people are very aware of their mistakes. Here are some times people know that they screwed up.
