Untouchable and Unqualified Political Appointee Successfully Fires Herself, Regrets Immediately

This week on r/MaliciousCompliance, u/WritesForDough42, shared the story of their terrible, politically appointed, boss, who successfully managed to remove themselves from their position when no one else was able to.

Shannon is the kind of person who thinks that she is transcendent because of their parent's political connection. She lives her life in a way that only such entitlement would allow. Never taking responsibility for her lack of contribution to anything significant.

In u/WritesForDough42's words, "She was a bully and a tyrant." though she "wasn't a micromanager because she was never around enough to actually micromanage anything."

What do you do about someone who is incapable of being removed from their office but is absolutely useless?

Get them to remove themselves.

Thankfully that chance would soon present itself when Tricia, the new assistant director, arrived.
