We all have brilliant ideas that are dumb upon review. We've all had dreams of starting a restaurant that only sells soup in fishbowls or whatever. Some of us just go ahead and spend a few hundred grand on that idea before realizing that it was stupid. Also, how do people keep thinking pyramid schemes are a good idea? At least there's something to be gleaned from learning about horrible but common financial decisions that people make.
