All in all, our eyes are pretty good at what they do. They can tell that a tree isn't a hamburger. Thanks eyes. But when they do screw up, they screw up big, with strange illusions caused by skewed perspective. For just a few seconds, our dumb eyes can make us think that giants exist, or that we're looking at someone's lost butt lying on the street. But that's not a forgotten road ass, that's just a double-take-causing image of skewed perspective.
