So, apparently there are some folks out there that define the difference of an extra $40 to be worthy of being deemed "extortionate." Clearly, this husband didn't account for the fact that the person he was giving an earful to on the phone would feel compelled to leave a reminder note about their particularly unpleasant encounter. Suffice to say, when the truth was revealed to his wife, it certainly ended up stinging him a bit.
