Nothing like being asked by your manager to do things that are well out of the bounds of your job description. But it can be equally as toxic when an employee refuses to do anything that isn't explicitly stated in their contract.
Somewhere within the bounds of those lines lies a blissful grey area where employee and employer can coexist and achieve mutual trust. This is not one of those occasions.
Just another horrible manager asking for unrealistic things.
Spelling can be challenging, but there's sort of a base level that most of us should be comfortable with by now. That's not the case. We see spelling fails all the time. The really good ones are when people homebrew their own creative spelling of a popular phrase. No, it doesn't make sense to suffer from day jaw food, but that's just how regrettable and dumb spelling fails go.
Food is one of the great joys of life. But when it goes wrong, cursed food can quickly become one of its great terrors. Sometimes we eat stuff that sucks to be polite guests, sometimes we don't realize what we're eating is gonna be bad, and sometimes we're just stupid. At least when it's over we have new insight on the worst things we've tasted.
It's hard for many of us to consider spending an entire paycheck on a cake or an ice maker, but when you think of all the money you spend on things that you don't even remember, maybe it's worth it to have a pleasant memory. While these ended up being decent expenses, some people get some extremely bad financial advice that is irredeemable. It'd be nice to have a taste of these absurdly expensive things people witnessed.
As human beings, we're all very familiar with dumb moments of failure and stupidity. People do and say stupid things as if it's their job. Whether it's arguing with Buzz Aldrin about the moon landing or getting keys stuck in an armored car, the bar lowers every day for facepalm moments from humanity's best and brightest.
This is probably a deal breaker. To go for two years without divulging something as big as your living expenses to your partner is just a level of broken trust that I just can't see a relationship recovering from. He has every right here to walk away without regrets. It must really hurt to realize that your partner was secretly wealthy and just pretending to commiserate with you the entire time you were struggling on unemployment.
Honestly sounds like something that could be covered in a modern Seinfeld episode and not for good reasons. Totally the AH here.

No one likes it when someone takes credit for someone else's hard work. It's the same reason we all hate doing group projects. Commenters seem to think that it's far more likely that she is cheating or doing something else nefarious along those lines but I'm going to stick with my optimistic canoe theory. There's already far too much cynicism in the world.

We can't advocate driving while on your phone, but also if that's something you decide to do on your own, we can't do anything about it. So for the purposes of this situation, we meant that figuratively. Many of us spend a few hours a day in our cars and wish we didn't have to. That said, many of us have cars that are nicer than our homes themselves, so the prospect of sitting in a comfortable chair while going fast and listening to music isn't so bad. A lot of us had to spend over a decade in school, and over the course of that formative period, we saw a lot of weird junk go down. School is boring, so naturally things got spiced up with the appearance of secret fish tanks, homemade chemical products and sometimes even bees. Hey, kids are resourceful. When Zach was prepping for work that morning there were some decisions that were made. Decisions that I can imagine he wishes he could take back.
The first ill-fated decision was the one to go to work "commando" when he realized he was out of clean undergarments. That is a bold, bold move. Let me just say that I'm no stranger to wandering around my house commando, there's something freeing about the lack of restriction and enhanced movement of the air.
But that same lack of restriction would prevent me from ever wanting to leave the house in that state, let alone go to work.
The second ill-fated decision was to couple this commando maneuver with a pair of tight-fitting slacks. If you've seen some of the wedding videos we have seen you would know that that move can be dangerous.
Those two things, combined with some bad luck, and the "Swiss Cheese Model" came into full effect... Murphy is laughing his a$$ off somewhere right now.

We're a paranoid group of people. So we're naturally curious about how insecure banking actually is or how clean Arby's kitchens are. And of course it's just inherently interesting to get the straight dirt on companies that we interact with on the daily, as well as some weird particular scams people had running out of their specific workplaces. If something like this is ever posted up on the wall of your new workplace when you walk in it would probably be best to turn around and walk straight back out that door. Only suffering awaits ahead.
This is one of the biggest red flags, in my eyes, that you could possibly come across in employment. Working for a small business or "family-run" business often means that your employment is going to be beholden to one, or a few, people. If that person or people are batsh$t insane... then your experience is not going to be amazing.
Conversely, to be fair to these businesses, working for an ethical small business owner can be one of the best employment experiences around.
Mehan isn't going to be one of those owners. They are going to be one of those owners. So steer clear, with a wide berth.
