It's crazy how you can love someone so deeply despite being confronted with their glaringly obvious flaws. In some funny way, those things can actually make you more attracted to them and love them even more.
Sometimes those things are a huge red flag and a huge turnoff and they might not come up until years into a relationship. Only emerging when some particularly unique situation coaxes it out of the depths of their personality.
It's one of the crazy things about any sort of relationship. It's easy to fool yourself into the false security of the fact that everyone else thinks and views the world as you do. It's almost like the default setting our brain goes into when dealing with other people. In reality, it couldn't be further from the truth.
We come across our fair share of 'entitled parent' content, and we wish we could say that there is a limit to how much entitled parent content the internet can take. Unfortunately for us, the limit does not exist. It seems that every dark corner of the interwebs is filled with ridiculous stories about parents forcing their own ideals upon their children, and not allowing them to flourish and develop into their own selves. This teacher must be teaching a class in petty pro-revenge. Everything about the way that he approaches this situation just screams of a wounded ego. At no point in this story does it sound like he is trying to do the right thing, he is out to right the wrongs that he perceives have been done against him.
That's what makes this whole scenario a little bit petty. He should have just reported it to the department and let the consequences of their actions take their course. But his approach certainly does have more style.

I'm really not even sure how I would react in this situation. There's nothing worse than having to confront your dear sweet-old grand mother after a debaucherous night of fun. The biggest part of the FU in this situation was probably assuming that your older relatives wouldn't be up and starting their day at the crack of dawn. No surprise that they're already partway through their day when you decide to get out of bed.

Am I the only one here who immediately has red flags raising about the camera being "lost"? I'd be willing to wager a handsome sum that it's sitting in a pawn shop somewhere and the funds are in the sister-in-law's pocket... or have already been contributed towards one kind of habit or another.
If it has actually been lost then at the very least the sister in law needs to be held accountable for the fact that she lost someone else's valuable property (that they did not consent to her taking).

Life is filled with hard lessons and this definitely is going to be one for this girl. It sounds like she had a very close relationship with her father's brother, to the point that he was willing to fund her college tuition. To do what she has done to someone who you have a close and trusting relationship with is a cruel betrayal.
Her behaviour here is absolutely out of line and, quite frankly, a little twisted. She deserves to learn this painful lesson for her mistakes. Hopefully she can use the time she was using to pull the pranks to get a scholarship.
There's a certain feeling you get when something is stacked just right or matches up oh so perfectly. Maybe it's because the world is chaotic and confusing and we find pleasure in some semblance of order. Maybe it's just some intangible aesthetically pleasing thing to see such clean lines in real life. Either way it makes people feel satisfied to see images of graceful perfection. And on the other end, oh man is it blood-boiling and frustrating to see imperfect things.

When it's all said and done we're just grateful that the good players in this gnarly tale were able to find their greener pastures. You hate to see a company get greedy and screw over people on the money that they absolutely deserve. It's honestly surreal that this company had the audacity to cut the employee's salary in half like they did.
Maybe, just maybe, it wasn't the best idea to let these people be solely responsible for a motorized object. You know? Maybe, just maybe, we should have some types for licensing systems in place to keep things like this from happening.

When you're a new manager in a team, no matter what size, it's always best to spend a given length of time observing before making changes. That length of time can vary wildly depending on the complexity and scale of the operation but, at the very least, it's best to give it a few weeks.
It gives you time to learn from experienced employees (who definitely know more than you do) and can keep you from making too many significant mistakes.

There's nothing worse than someone who thinks that they are the exception to every rule. If anyone has siblings like this or families who enable this type of behaviour then you have my sympathies. This type of behaviour is only possible when the people around them allow it to persist.
