Seller Won't Fall For BS, Lowballer Gets Weirdly Classist About It

It's strange that people have enough free time to argue over fridge prices on craigslist, but we're the one's using our free time to jeer at them. Our way seems more efficient. It's like listening to the "Inconceivable" guy from Princess Bride screw up buying a damn fridge. For more people who know they're value honey here's a lowballer who won't pay for completed work and the artist isn't having it. And for more voids of human decency here are entitled people who made the world a less friendly place.

Guy Gives Girlfriend Hard Time Over Meal Choice, Asks If He's Wrong

Oh boy did the moral judges of Reddit's AITA community let this guy have it. Basically, he had the audacity to crack a mean-spirited joke about his girlfriend's food/drink choices right in front of her, to the very person that she already didn't dislike. To say that she didn't take too kindly to his decision would be an understatement. The dude straight up messed up. Really, all that's left for him to do is to apologize for his lapse in judgement and not go for the repeat performance.

Entitled Customer Outraged When Retail Staff Won't Help Him After Close

Anyone who has worked retail knows how this story goes. You're weary after a long day of interacting with hordes of people and glad for the respite that closing the doors offers.

As soon as you've turned the key, a wild Karen appears... peering in through the glass door or a nearby window desperately trying to lock eyes with a wayward employee in order to ensnare them and pull them into their clutches. If this fails they will launch into a siren song to the chorus of "Hello? Anyone in there? Why can't you help me?".

Usually this ends with management having to get involved to avoid an absolute shipwreck and explain to the expectant how opening hours work.

The Most Elaborate Scams People Fell For

It doesn't seem like the world's scammers are going anywhere just yet. There are far too many people out there still falling victim to all kinds of maniacally elaborate scams. Honestly, when you read through some of these kinds of stories about people's experiences with nasty, elaborate scams it can serve as further motivation to always keep a wary eye out for the next scammer that might be trying to catch you when you're off your guard. To shake up the tone just a little bit, check out this post about incompetent scammers who were their own worst enemies.

Karen Customer Launches Pizza Amidst Toppings Fiasco

Pizza shop employees are on the unfortunate frontlines of having to weather completely unacceptable meltdowns from customers that refuse to act like decent human beings. In this case, we have yet another Karen who was committed to creating a problem from the very moment that she walked through the door. Fortunately, the employee on hand was more than ready to meet Karen's belligerent attitude with a level of mindfulness that ultimately resulted in Karen swiftly engineering her own demise. Oh boy, to have seen the look on her face. For another recent story about a Karen acting a fool, check out this post where Karen gets evicted, lies about her eviction, and then loses to the landlord in court after the old lease is broken out.

Woman Sinks Every Shot, Wins New Car

I can't imagine what must've been going through her mind as she steadily sank every shot she needed to make for the brand new shiny car. It must've been nothing short of an out-of-body experience. Seriously. And the half-court shot there at the end? Get out of here. Enough. Seriously, kudos to her. To pull a feat like this off while under all of that pressure is something else, man.

Phil Mickelson Hilariously Cuts Off Tiger Woods' First Tee Introduction

You've got to love the fact that a couple of the greats in the game of golf can still have the presence to not get caught up in taking the whole show so unshakably seriously. Man, these guys had some great showdowns back in the day.

Impressive Multitasker Yodels While Smoking Cigarette

Y'now, it's just a guy playing the accordion while doing some masterful yodeling while a cigarette hangs from his mouth with the casualness of a line cook. Most of our minds would be preoccupied with only one of those things, but he's out here multitasking with the best of them.

TikTok Filter Predicts Girl's Boyfriend Cheated On Her

There's no getting around the fact that TikTok is ridiculous. It can bring out the very worst in people, and accounts for a whole lot of nonsense that's actively spread throughout the internet. With that being said, it appears that a TikTok filter actually might've accomplished some "good." There's also the lingering suspicion that this is staged for the TikTok clout. But hey, who knows? The guy does look very uncomfortable. Cheaters never win, man.

Girlfriend Pushes Moral Prerogative Of Calling Restaurant Over Extra Curry, Guy Flips Out

So in the end, it's not necessarily a moral obligation to let a restaurant know that they delivered an extra entrée. The whole making a huge deal out of it and attempting to publicly shame your girlfriend for wanting to do what she thinks is the right thing, however, is maybe not the greatest move. For some more intriguing moral conundrums, here's the time a friend had a tantrum when their friend refused to take a mysterious package for them internationally.

Entitled People Who Made Reality A Harsher Place To Live

Most everyone has a decent sense of decorum when dealing with other people. "Treat others the way you would want to be treated," we remind ourselves every time someone pulls off a bad but understandable move in traffic or when we have to go to the back of a really long line at the grocery store. But some people never seem to understand this. Some people think they're the main character in the story of the universe, and these entitled people tend to make life more complicated. Sometimes it ends okay, like when this entitled dad left his kids with a stranger on a plane and it ended up wholesomely. But most of the time, the ridiculous actions of entitled people make the world a less friendly place.

Tumblr Thread: Neil Gaiman Weighs In On Coraline Being Too Scary

Maybe one of the only social positives to come out of the nonstop access and interconnectivity of the internet is that the people who made the things you like can actually just tell you about them directly. Coraline was celebrated as a fabulously creepy adaptation of a much creepier children's book. As it turns out, even though it was probably too creepy, it was just too good. Author Neil Gaiman himself gives the account. For some more wonderous tumblr dives into fiction, here's Tumblr's deep dive into The Incredibles and Tumblr's breakdown of young adult dystopian fiction.

Dad Oversleeps, Son Goes On Adventure, Parental Panic Attack Ensues

There are different scales to waking up in a panic. Sometimes, it's just anxiety about the day's upcoming events or a recent conversation that went south. Other times though, things can get grim very, very quickly. Take this poor dad for instance. The guy wakes up, only to realize that his son has popped out for a stroll around the block with their dog. The fact that the dog stayed with the kid the whole time is at least a little heartwarming though. Otherwise, we're just glad that everyone's okay.

Tumblr User Schooled On Rocky Horror Being Problematic

As times change, and the temptation to look at old media with a modern lense grows, it's important to remember the actual context those books and movies were created in, and what they were used for. The thing is 40 years old. In the same vein, we'd all still like to continue enjoying Blazing Saddles. Also, there's no question why this person would get steamrolled for trying to diminish anything the great Tim Curry was involved in. With that said, sometimes looking at old stuff with a modern sensibility can be pretty funny, like this Twitter thread about a woman who found this annotated Bukowski filled with comedy gold.

Unrealistic Standards Created By Imaginative Romance Novels

We all have that one person in our lives (or it's you) that is hopelessly addicted to the realm of romance novels. Romance novels provide a warm and bubbly escape from the unforgiving chaotic bubble of reality that one must otherwise muddle through. Unfortunately, all of those romance novel musings can end up creating quite the unrealistic series of expectations about how the real world works. While we're on the subject of romance novels, man oh man, Hallmark movies are right up there with perpetuating their own collection of shamelessly unhinged ideals about how love, romance, etc. ends up looking in real life.

Elder Scrolls Memes That Are As Tamriel As It Gets

When people aren't looking at Skyrim memes, what are they doing? That's right, back at home in a dark room, blasting Jeremy Soule and zooping around Skyrim searching for another dang nirnroot. I can hear it. It's out there. And it's close. Here are some of the Bethesda the best Skyrim memes we could find as well as an informative Twitter thread on a Skyrim treasure hack.

Self-Important Karen Makes Tech Support Drive Out For Easy Fix, Tech Support Quits

The world's not going to run out of wildly entitled and generally impossible to deal with Karens anytime soon. With that being said, everyone has their breaking points. We can all only put up with so much genuine nonsense from downright toxic human beings. At a certain point, even the paycheck can't validate weathering the tidal waves of unacceptable behavior. Thus, we arrive at this tech support tale. We totally get where this tech support employee is coming from. Karen continually disregarded their professional advice, wasted their time, and then gave them serious attitude when they showed up to help resolve the issue. Yeah, best to dip out of that situation. Life's far too short. If this tech support tale got you going, check out these IT memes for the people really holding up society as we know it.

Informative Twitter Thread On Treasure Hack In Skyrim

Skyrim is one of those games that'll fade off the grid for a hot minute, and then pick up steam right where it left off thanks to another fun Twitter thread from one of its avid players. In this case, we have a formal investigation being launched with the purpose of determining whether or not the "treasure bug" is actually legit. Well, as it turns out, due to some favorable coincidences it is most definitely worth giving a shot if you're playing Skyrim, and looking for more treasure. For another fun Twitter thread about Skyrim, check out this Twitter thread where a guy details his ridiculous Skyrim adventures.

People's Worst and Dumbest First Tattoo Experiences

Like all permanent decisions, it's usually a good idea to do your research and make the right choice when considering a tattoo. In addition to the questionable ideas, much of the frustration of tattooing is the clients themselves, especially when they're a first-timer who doesn't know what they're getting into. Tattoo artists find themselves dealing with people's tattoo choices that have them asking questions.

Dirtbag Dad Crashes Son's Car And Sells It

Everyone deserves to have a responsible parent, but not everyone gets one. This dude had to deal with the ultimate betrayal of a dad who borrowed his kids car, got in a crash, and then single-handedly managed to make everything way worse. For another wildly entitled dad story, here's the dad who was furious that his son needed permission to hold a gun.

Overconfident Saxophone Player Goes For It, Falls Short

The amount of confidence that some people somehow possess while they completely lack the skills to back it up is dauntingly confusing. There are multiple moments when it almost seems like the show's going to be brought to a (welcomed) halt, until it just continues onwards.

Tiger Woods And Friends Attempt "Happy Gilmore" Swing, Years Later

It's always fun to see someone break out the infamous, instantaneously recognizable "Happy Gilmore Swing." You've just gotta love the part when Rory nonchalantly crushes a ball right into the $10K launch monitor, and everyone else just carries on as usual.

Girl Dances To Hydraulic Press Videos, Internet Peaks

TikToker @smacmccreanor has taken the internet by storm with her series of videos which depict her passionately dancing to various hydraulic press videos. The concept itself is simple (?) yet genius. Who knows what these videos will go on to inspire for our next internet trend. In the meanwhile enjoy the compilation of her videos that she went ahead and put together for this YouTube video.

The Time A Guy Crashed Into Bees

Crashing your car because of your own poor decisions is one thing. Crashing your car into bees is a whole other thing. Getting on the news over your bee crash is on another level entirely. But having your story narrated by the most salt-of-the-earth men this Earth hath wrought is just a recipe for true greatness. Rarely does anyone live a sequence of the events that any self-respecting writer wishes they had thought to put in an Adam Sandler movie.

Customer Gets Mad Over Extra Time, So They End Up Getting Less

What a satisfying tale of petty revenge. We love nothing more than coming across a boss who is actually ready to back their employee. We read far too many stories about corrupt bosses and maniacal managers that never should've been put in their positions of power in the first place. But in this case, finally, we have a boss actually backing their employee. Let's make this the new trend, world.

Librarian Humor That Looks Way Different With No Glasses

We should all probably spend more time reading books about philosophy and history, and less time reading the Facebook ramblings of our most insane family members but hey, there's a time and a place for everything, right? So here's some fun library humor. For something bordering on educational, here are some history memes and a twitter thread on how the Appalachian mountains are older than most things.

Tumblr Thread: Being The Purveyor of Fine, Succulent Clown Meats

Some of us dream about taking tests in our underwear. Some of us dream about being in a play and not knowing our lines. Most of us just dream about eating big heaps of cereal that looks like our mom using a spoon that looks like our dad. But this Tumblr user experienced a nighttime sequence so peculiar and mystifying that it had to be put into words. For some more tumblrness, here's the wholesome tumblr thread on a grandma who summons a demon and calls it Todd.

IT Memes For The People Really Holding Up Society As We Know It

It doesn't take a bunch of tech support stories or tech support gore to realize that IT people are the backbone of our society. Heck, all it takes getting locked out of your machine on a busy workday to realize that the tech support people are titans among men. Or, more specifically, Atlas holding up the heavens on their backs.

Most Corrupt Things Employees Have Witnessed Their Bosses Do

This fun AskReddit thread has employees disclosing the most corrupt things that they've ever witnessed their bosses do. The reality is that there are far too many people that are employed and put in positions of power within companies, that really never should've been put in their positions in the first place. Maybe this AskReddit thread will serve to make you feel a bit better about the times that you had to put up with a wildly delusional, downright maniacal boss during your career. To keep the boss drama train rolling check out this recent post about an unreasonable boss who threatened a deli guy's job, so he basically just said "okay."

Slumlord Won't Let Company Out Of 5 Year Lease, Gets Just Deserts

There are far too many slumlords and greedy landlords in this world that try to pull fast ones on completely well intentioned tenants. In this case though, the company that wasn't being let out of their five year lease managed to pull a swift and highly effective pro revenge on a slumlord who quite honestly needed to get their just deserts at one point or another. If this pro revenge tale got you going, check out another pro revenge tale about this Karen who got evicted, lied about her eviction, and then ultimately lost to the landlord in court who had to use the old lease on file.
