Stop Clickbait is a Facebook page (see here) that's taken upon itself to champion the cause for eliminating clickbait. They handpick the most obnoxiously misleading, and ambiguous of the headlines to hit the Facebook news feed; to bring people the truth of the content, without them having to click through to figure it out. A noble cause, for sure. And a cause that's resulted in some pretty entertaining posts, that was considered as a whole, show just how out of hand the headline-crafting process can get.

When this man set out to help a stranger in need sometime around midnight, with changing his tire, he did NOT anticipate the fallout of impulsive street justice. Therein lies the biggest risk with trying to do the "right" occasionally brutal thing outside the law: you don't know the whole story, and you're not taking the time to learn it. Instead, you're acting on volatile impulses, and subverting critical thinking for instant emotional justice. In this case, things spiraled out of control quickly. We hope the guy's okay!

A lot of us will encounter unruly customer service at one point in our lives, in the chase to get the most out of the product we spent our hard-earned money on. It is how we choose to react to that momentarily, frustrating customer service when the miscommunication is running strong, that we have control over. People out there are falling prey to the lofty promises of Multi-Level Marketing Pyramid Schemes everyday. It could be a willful ignorance, a desire to take the bite out of the cake with money-promises filling, that's too good to be true; or some perverse motivation to knowingly f**k other people over. These people have every right to be filled with anger, over their roommates' inability to act like reasonable human beings that have an actual moral compass.
