'I was excited... to get some video game satisfaction': Fired employee gets back at money-grubbing CEO in the most epic gamer fashion

Even if you had the nicest boss in the world, getting laid-off is never easy. It doesn't matter how much you pour your heart into your work or how many hours you put in, money-grubbing CEOs will always choose profits over people. Welcome to capitalism, buddy. You and your boss could become the best of friends, get drinks after work, share a funny duet during karaoke, but when it comes to cutbacks, employees are always the first to suffer. What can you do? Nothing, usually.

Unless you and your CEO are both gamers. Ooooh how sweet revenge can be when it can be conducted in a pretend scenario, like a video game. This OP on Reddit shared how he got back at being laid off and it was in the most epic gamer fashion. The company he worked for is unnamed, but the gist is that he was a very hardworking employee, but the investors wanted more money, so they laid-off hardworking people to give the greedy ones what they wanted. It was obvious the company chose profits over people. He was heartbroken, but there was nothing he could do.

Until his now ex-CEO joined the team shooter game they were playing online. At first, he saw that his old CEO was on the other team, and he was excited to get out some frustrations by hunting him down in the game. However, his boss switched to his team all of a sudden. The old CEO tried to say hi and act like everything was ok, but he was too upset with him to let that slide. So instead, he worked friendly fire for the win. He ended the old CEO even though he was on his own team, and, honestly, it sounds like that made his point of loathing him forever even more clear. Read the entire gamer revenge story below!
