Anyone who's ever worked in the corporate world had had a taste of something humanity naturally fears. Perpetual hellscape of the cubicle creates a literal prison for employees, micromanaging their every move and enslaving them to stare at spreadsheets until the day they retire (which may be never…?). Corporate big wigs like to try and "sweeten the deal" with marginal profit sharing or offering company stocks to employees at a discount, but we all know that that's barely a step up from the pizza party we all know is coming as soon as anyone starts asking for a real raise. Sure it pays well to be a cog in the corporate machine, but at what cost?
