It's you! Hi! You're the problem, it's you! That's what the employees of this company seem to be communicating to their horrible boss, yet he's clearly not getting the picture (or the reference).
This thread, which was posted to Reddit's r/antiwork subreddit, speaks to a lot of what's been happening in toxic work environments over the last few years. What's particularly amusing is when employers choose the path of tunnel vision and decide to go on tirades about how nobody wants to work anymore. Do they even know they're just quoting Kim Kardashian? In this divided work culture, it's easy to point fingers at the people at the bottom of the ladder for wanting to be treated differently, but as we know, self-reflection is not a part of an old-school employer's mentality. So until these guys retire or accept these much-needed changes to work culture, one can only expect this mass exodus to continue.
