You know it's ridiculous when the cost of the request exceeds the actual overpayment! This thread was posted to Reddit's r/CVS subreddit by u/CharacterKatie, a former employee who stopped working at the company last November.
However, these many months later, she received a letter from corporate requiring her to send a check for LITERALLY ONE CENT as a result of the overpayment error. This just goes to show that the whole system itself is screwed. The fact that no one caught the error and thought it would be ridiculous to send this says so much about the checks and balances within the company. If you keep scrolling through the comments below, you'll learn that this is not the first anecdote from a former employee accusing the company of being, well, cheap. At a certain point, you just have to laugh at these people and wonder if they have something, literally anything, better to do.
