Give me a minute while I pick my jaw up from the floor. This thread, which was posted to Reddit's r/antiwork subreddit, was written by the husband of an employee who was accidentally copied on an email about her own upcoming termination. Yikes!
As some folks pointed out in the comments section, if this were me, I would not be able to resist further embarrassing HR for this egregious mistake. If the reasoning behind the termination had anything to do with an inability to perform the job correctly, well, then it's pretty clear whoever copied her on the email has the very same problem. If it's a work culture thing, as the original poster suggests it might be, then one has to wonder what kind of work culture would try to ignore a screw-up this bad.
