20+ Extremely cursed and silly glizzy memes to make you say 'my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined'
Ever since the frankfurter was invented in Germany, people have been eating hot dogs and sausages. It's was a rather popular American food for quite some time, and even today, they're a staple at baseball games and July 4th cookouts. And in case you didn't know, they've been called 'glizzies' as of late - a term that used to describe weaponry, but has now been promoted (maybe demoted?) to a slang term for hot dogs. Maybe hot diggities had a resurgence when that little augmented reality dancing hot dog took over Snapchat back in 2017.
Regardless of how popular hot dogs are today, there's an entire Twitter page where dedicated fans can show off their favorite glizzies, both real and imagined, and boy are the results weird. Scroll down to check out this piping hot collection of some of the oddest glizzy memes on the internet.
After that, check out these final bosses that are simply too powerful for you to destroy, sorry.
'They were both stunned': Entitled brother thinks his child is the exception to "child-free" wedding, gets hit with the hammer of obvious truth
There will always be people who consider themselves to be the exception — to rules, laws, or just plain old common etiquette. These entitled individuals think they're the main character but don't even stop to consider the fact that they're really just making themselves into one of many faceless, disposable goons in everyone else's day — like those hordes of aliens in the first Avengers who just mercilessly eradicated in the final act having received literally zero screen time.
Anyways, this brother made the classic entitlement blunder of thinking that his miracle baby was going to be the exception to a very strict "no children" rule at his brother's wedding — there's always one in the family. To nip this thought process in the bud, the groom sat his brother down and very explicitly laid out the rules in a way that even his brother would be able to understand.
Keep reading to see the screenshots and reactions to this story, as originally shared to Reddit's r/AmItheA**hole subreddit by Redditor u/throwaway3373123. For more, check out this guy who proposed at his brother's wedding, which prompted the brother to destroy his relationship.
'They lied [...] so I quit': Recruiter lies about new hire's job duties and working arrangement, new hire quits
Working relationships are built on mutual trust — so why are so many recruiters determined to start things off with deceit?
Update! 'My mom was horrified': 'Upscale bakery' allegedly run by teens botches birthday cake, refuses to apologize
When you order a cake from a bakery, you expect it to look professional, right? Not for one customer, who got a bad surprise when this bakery kind of messed up her cake. It's botched enough to notice - but some people on the internet actually don't think it looks that bad.

30 Crazy BeReals from people who had an exciting (and sometimes flammable) day
Social media is chock-full of photoshopped bodies, picture-perfect dinners, and expertly photographed vacation selfies. Enter BeReal, an app released in 2020 with the intention of being the opposite of most social media platforms. Instead of curating the perfect photo, everyone posts a photo at the same time (well, when the app isn't crashing, anyway). It captures photos of each person where they are - front and back camera view - in an attempt to, you know, "be real." Sometimes that's a little boring. But other times, people have shared some truly hilarious and crazy moments!
Scroll down to check out these eye-popping BeReals, then click here to read the most random, galaxy-brain shower thoughts ever.
'Only a few more mental breakdowns till Christmas': 20 back-to-work memes after the Holiday weekend
How are we expected to just go back to work like this? I mean, you have a tumultuous three-day work week scrambling to get everything in place so you can truly unplug for the Holiday weekend. Then, you finally get those four days off and you have to deal with family tension and drama the whole time? You probably don't even get a good amount of sleep until Saturday or Sunday. And now, after all of that, we're expected to just go back to the office like nothing ever happened? Like we got a taste of what it's like to have a life, and then it's immediately ripped away from us?
How rude! Here we are, now in the middle of a normal five-day work week, and we have absolutely no ability to function because it feels like we're living in a warped world. Will someone step up and admit that this is bizarre? Until that happens, here are twenty back-to-work memes to make you feel less alone. For more content like this, check out these annoying coworker memes.
'I guess you can say his debt has been paid': Guy gets his childhood bully arrested years later
As someone wise once said, Karma is a God. I mean, that same person went on to say Karma is a cat, but enough about Taylor Swift. The point is that karma is real and will bite you where you do not want to be bitten. This story is a prime example of that fact.
This thread was posted to Reddit's r/ProRevenge subreddit by u/sarcasticpremed, who shared that they discovered their childhood bully's alias on social media and proceeded to report it and get them arrested. Not only that but the Redditor also got paid for their services. It doesn't really get better than this, does it? Take a moment to picture your childhood bully in prison garb. I don't want to be petty, but the thought certainly does not not bring me joy.

‘You’re gaslighting me so you don't look like the bad guy': Daughter catches mom's boyfriend cheating, epically tells him off and puts him in his place
"You and I both know that you got caught doing something wrong, that you weren't supposed to be doing, and you're gaslighting the absolute sh*t out of me so you don't look like the bad guy."
'We need to comply to avoid being excluded': Team leader implies required lunch break location to promote synergy and "cohesion"
Sometimes it's not about the words being spoken; it's about the implication. When your boss suggests a singular place where you should take your lunch break, claims it's not a requirement but goes on to imply that you'll be disadvantaged in the workplace if you disagree… well, you don't really have a choice — do you?

'The girls were pissed': Parents add new gym to their home but make their four daughters share a bathroom
There's nothing like clueless, arrogant parents! This mother earnestly shared her story via this thread on Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit and seemed to have no idea how selfish she and her husband have been throughout their recent home renovation project.
The couple has four daughters, who have been sharing a bathroom for some time now and have been complaining that it's too much. Finally, when the Redditor and her husband had enough funds to do a renovation, did they add a second bathroom for their kids? Nope. Did they add a gym for the dad? Did they remodel the kitchen? Did they renovate the backyard? You bet they did.
This story is just another friendly reminder of two fundamental truths: one, that anyone can be selfish (even your parents); two, that people can be so blindly unaware of their own actions that they post to Reddit thinking they're completely innocent. It's just baffling. For more stories like this, check out this post about a demanding mother as Christmas approaches.

'I want to make a complaint:' Aggressive Kevin berates gas station manager until she bans him
In one small town, there is drama going on at the local gas pump, but not for the reason you might think. As one poster on r/IDOWORKHERELADY wrote, his mother has some pretty wacky customers at her job as a petrol station manager. This one stubborn Kevin really tested her patience as he demanded to speak to the manager. But luckily, this manager got a handle on the situation and she really had the final revenge!

'IT'S AT THE APEX OF A STORYLINE': Insensitive Karen enraged when soap operas are paused for a breaking news event
This Karen did not want her programs to be interrupted, but that's exactly what happened. A breaking news event on a local TV station followed a serious helicopter crash, but that wasn't enough of a tragedy to stop Karen from letting loose online. She probably has no clue that she could easily find episodes of The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful online.
This thread was posted to Reddit's r/F***YouKaren subreddit by u/mcparksky and it belongs in our endless series of Karens doing the most. Maybe this lady learned her lesson and realized that she was being horribly insensitive. That's probably wishful thinking. Maybe she also realized how embarrassing it is that she watches those shows. That's probably wishful thinking too. Keep scrolling below to see her outrageous Facebook post and to see the best comments. What I bought vs. What I got: 30+ People who immediately facepalmed over terrible online purchases
Online shopping is really a "best of times/worst of times" situation. It's never been easier to order, say, a nice prom dress, or a brand new rug for the living room, or a comfy new pair of leggings. But you have to be really, really careful about where you order from. And you have to be cautious that you're ordering something that's the correct size, as a few disappointed doll-house furniture owners now understand. Keep scrolling to see some of the worst mishaps folks have had while shopping on the World Wide Web.

'The total demand was something like $135k': Employer cheats guy on overtime, guy plays the long con to get it all back, plus interest
Patience is a virtue — so states the proverbial phrase — but in a modern world, that idea seldom comes into actual practice. Everything is happening so quickly, changing so suddenly, that waiting or trying to be patient often means that it's already too late. We've all been trained by the idea of "missing out" into giving in to each and every impulse; when, retrospectively, if you don't miss the thing you "missed out" on… did you really miss out at all?
Well, when it comes to delaying the payout of $50k in unpaid overtime, there is definitely a gamble involved. Usually, the interest charged on the payment will barely keep up with inflation (if at all); getting the payments back in a lump sum may result in higher taxation by local governments; plus, there's always the risk of the company going under in that time, which means you never see a dime of that money.
Luckily for u/SScheibler their gamble paid off, and they were able to hold their former employer accountable to the tune of $135k.
Keep reading for the full tale of revenge, as originally posted on Reddit's r/ProRevenge subreddit. For more, check out this delivery driver who orchestrated a similar revenge when cheated out of their tips by their employer.
‘Hey, We Don’t Push People’ Mother Reprimands Another Woman’s Kid for Pushing Her Baby, Gets Shouted At
When taking your kid to the playground or outdoors in general, you have a lot of things to worry about. You have to keep a constant eye out because they tend to be totally okay one minute, and then the next, you may find them balling their eyes out on the floor after tripping, falling, or getting hit by another 'friendly' kid there. Some parents don't supervise their children properly, and when that happens, and it affects your own kid, we believe you have every right to tell them off (Nicely).
A situation came to our attention on Reddit where a woman was genuinely worried that she made the wrong call when she was at a farm with a little playing area with her 12-month-old son. Someone's kid wasn't acting right, and she proceeded to tell him off (again, nicely). The woman took to Reddit to disclose what had happened and detailed what had been said. Scroll down to check out the story for yourself. And fellow parents — for the love of God, please supervise your kids outdoors.
Dumb Boss Rejects Client's Payment Over 30 Stupid Cents, Loses His Business $300,000 Over This
If anyone should be leaving the company, it should be the boss! This thread was posted to Reddit's r/antiwork subreddit by u/Competitive_Humor610, who opened up about a sales job they were working and how close they were to making a $300,000 deal and a $30,000 commission.
So close, yet so far. The Redditor's boss intervened twice to reject the client's payment. The first time was because he felt the client should pay for the bank's 0.1% commission. The second time was even worse. It was because of a mere 30 cents difference. If he has a boss, that person should be notified because the client was enraged and walked away from the deal entirely. Not only that, but now the Redditor walked away from months of work with zero commission.
This is just one of countless instances when bosses have proven themselves to be completely inept. Keep scrolling below for the full account. For more stories like this, check out this boss who fired a worker after they gave their two weeks' notice.

Why are so many things in this world infuriating? Well, let's be honest and check ourselves for a moment. There is definitely a hierarchy of infuriating phenomena. Roasted by Wendy's: 20 Times Twitter brands clapped back at their own fans and other companies
Since the dawn of time (around 2006), Twitter.com has been a place for people to gather and talk. Then, when companies realized there was marketing potential, they joined Twitter, too. Twitter discourse has certainly advanced over the years, but in the back in the early 2010s, brands began roasting each other - and their customers. It was hilarious! Wendy's - the burger place - especially became the place to go if you wanted to be burnt to a crisp by their hardcore roasts. But that's not the only brand Twitter that tweeted out some pretty odd stuff…

Funniest Work Memes for People Who are Definitely the Toxic One in the Office
There are a couple clear signs when someone is the most toxic person in your workplace. They always have a bad attitude, they're late to work 90% of the time, and they don't try very hard. Some people just don't take their work very seriously and can't be responsible of anything in their lives, that's how they've become so toxic. This is the person in the office that everyone needs to avoid like the plague when they get asked, "Want to grab drinks after work?" That will spell disaster. Not only will you get too lit for a Wednesday, but you will be the one to show up to work the next day like a CHUMP, but they certainly won't be there to share in your hungover misery. They called in "sick" and everyone knows why. Oof. You might even look at some of these memes and think to yourself, wait, am I the toxic employee in the office?
'I snapped on my son and told him it was unacceptable': Demanding mother guilts son and daughter-in-law for not coming to Christmas
All I want for Christmas is not you! That's clearly what this Mom is hearing when her son said he once again will be spending Christmas with his wife's family this year since they organize a large gathering annually. This thread was posted to Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit by u/likagadi, who admitted to losing it on her son and finding it ridiculous that they can't come to a compromise.
Now, here are some more facts to get the record straight. It should be noted that her son and daughter-in-law have a newborn and can't really travel out of state. There's also the option of the Mom coming to them, but clearly, she has refused to consider that possibility. There are also 364 other days in the year and plenty of Holidays that can be "her" time. If anyone needs to grow up here, it's the mother.

Thieving delinquent nephews steal coveted can collection, guy threatens to call police when they won't pay him back
Isn't family wonderful? While some of us are busy brawling at the family Thanksgiving dinner, other families have resorted to stealing collections of cans valued at around $200.
This uncle arrived home and noticed that his shed had been broken into, the only thing that was missing was hundreds of empty soda cans that he kept in massive bags in the shed. He had been collecting these with the intention of eventually turning them into the recycling plant to collect their bounty — just your regular soda-drinking Boba Fett.
The cans were gone, but the uncle had plenty to go off of to unravel this mystery. he put on his Sherlock Holmes hat and Hardy Boys sweater and set to work.
It didn't take him long to realize that the glass window had actually been broken from the insi— wait — wrong plotline. Luckily this mystery was easy to solve, the idiots had broken into the shed in clear view of his security cameras and without wearing any disguises. The culprits were easily identifiable because, well, they were his nephews.
When confronted, his sister (their mother) and her husband refused to pay up, so it was time to get the police involved.

Funniest Boozy Memes for People Who Can Turn Any Gathering Into a Lit Function
We all have that one friend who shows up to every party or social gathering carrying a 30 rack and two bottles of wine. Quite frankly, there's no reason they had to bring that much and certainly nobody asked them, but I guess we're getting lit at Granny's funeral. She would have wanted it that way. For some reason, it's like everybody these days can't help but turn any sort of get-together into a drinking party. For example, there's no reason we need to get blacked out at our friend's baby shower, but you know what? Why not.
It doesn't matter that you have to be at work in 3 hours, at this point, you might as well have one more drink. Whatever the cost, it's always time to have an overindulgent wine night or a kegger. So if you're one of those folks that is not found at the function if it's not lit, these memes are for you.
'Not sure you were in the right here': Guy soaks neighbors with water gun for a controversial reason
What would you do about a super annoying neighbor? Well, one Reddit user shared their own tale of neighborly disputes, and didn't quite get the reaction they were searching for.
The issue was over these neighbors' smelly habit that drifted into the OP's own apartment. To take matters into their own hands, the OP bought a super soaker! One night, they completely drenched the offending neighbor couple…then proceeded to deny it all. But they also boasted about their debauchery on r/PettyRevenge, a place for people to share the best ways they've gotten little slivers of revenge against those who have wronged them. Unfortunately for this poster, the commenters were split on whether or not he did the correct thing…check out the dramatic tale below to see what you would have done if this was your neighbor's irritating habit.

35+ People whose barbers did them dirty with the worst haircuts imaginable
It really shouldn't be so important but…hair plays a major role in how we regard ourselves. If you've ever had a bad haircut, and let's face it, it'll happen to most of us at some point, you know the fear and anxiety a bad hair cut can cause. Mostly because there's not too much to be done about a bad hair cut. You just have to hide your shameful do under a hat or hair wrap, or put it up in a ponytail if you're able. These aren't your average, every day bad hair cuts that are just a little too short or maybe just not the right frame for one's face. No. These are next level. These are life-altering. These barbers should have to like, take a class or something before they can pick up another pair of scissors. These royally botched hairdos are unfortunate for them, and very funny to us.
After that, check out these memes about sleep to lull you into a gentle slumber.
Viral thread, 'Consider yourself on call': Employer demands employees leave their personal phones on and be contactable at all hours to come into work
The best part of the working day is when you sign off and go home; I don't care how much you love your job… there are no exceptions here.
Once you've put in your 8, or 9, (or even 10) hours, you're finally free to return to your humble abode, decompress… and start doing personal chores and obligations. Thanks to the modern workday, there's very little time to get all the things done that you'd like to at home; I'm sure each of us has several projects that we've been putting off due to constraints of time and energy. I, for one, still have to get that veggie garden set up from earlier this year.
Thanks to the boon of technological advances, our ability to remain in contact with our working lives while at home has increased dramatically — while the separation between the two has eroded into near-nothingness.
Well, in a declaration posted to a staff break room, this boss decided to do away with that separation entirely, declaring that all staff were (effectively) on call at all times. Images of the poster went viral today when posted to Reddit's r/antiwork subreddit, making this one of the highest trending images on the internet.
Commenters on r/antiwork were, of course, furious at the proposition of the alleged image, and the post sparked all kinds of debate and conversation around the problems with these types of workplace intrusions on private life.
Speculation seems to be that this image originated from an emergency department staff area — in my searching, I've been unable to find anything to back up this claim or the origins of the image. Although, based on accounts from people who work in these fields, it wouldn't be out of the question, as these sectors have suffered significantly with staffing thanks to recent global events.
For more, check out these handwritten posters that were posted in a break room, shouting bizarre directives and stupid rules.
‘Case Closed’ : Unlawfully Funny Courthouse Quotes That Really Have Appeal
People get into trouble, that's a given. The justice system is many things, but today we are focusing on the funny aspect of it. A lot of people have seen the inside of a courtroom, and there is an Instagram account that is fully devoted to posting some disturbingly funny quotes that people have heard. It is full of quotes that are sent in from people who have had first-hand experience when dealing with funny judges, defendants, attorneys, etc. Basically, everything that has to do with the law.
People are either downright stupid or have some serious courage. If I were in a courtroom in front of a judge, I'd probably be sweet talking the heck out of 'em and trying to keep a straight face. Some people were also charged with some pretty ridiculous things, such as making phone calls to 911 and playing music (big fan of Sam Cooke, apparently). Without further ado, scroll down and check it out.
‘Well That Sucks’: Funniest Fails for a Garbage Day or a Groundhog Week
Some days you wake up in an alternate reality where everything that could possibly go wrong, does. Unfortunately, I have had my fair share of these. Something is off, the air feels funny, and everything is almost too quiet — until it's not. You have this sense of impending doom, a weird tingling feeling below the surface of your skin… and when it surfaces, oh boy, is it bad.
Maybe your dog ate your AirPods (you can't really stay mad), or your cats pooped on one another (This is almost worse) — perhaps your car doesn't start, or there's some kind of freak incident where your mirror shatters for no apparent reason (It is ghost season, guys). We can all relate to having some version of this kind of day. You can take it badly, and curse the world and every breathing thing on the planet, or you can kind of shrug, repress your anger, and go 'Well, this sucks.'
Check out these poor souls who are having quite a day.
20+ Embarrassing Family & Wedding Photo Fails
They say a picture's worth a thousand words. These photos certainly speak for themselves. Picture this: you've got your family all gathered for a photo. All the cousins who don't want to be there, all the aunts and uncles who actually do want to be there, and all the grandparents who aren't quite sure where they are. You get everyone in a cute formation and you're ready to get that one photo that will mark the event, whether it's a wedding or, you know, a Holiday weekend like the one we're struggling to get through as we speak. Just as the camera is about to capture the moment, something unexpected happens. The dog goes wild, the child wails, the bride trips and spills a drink all over her wedding dress, I could go on. If something like this has ever happened to you, then you're going to feel for these families. For more content like this, check out these car fails.

'I see her putting on the tight, less nice dress': Couple gets into argument over dress code for a work event
Now, all dress codes are dumb, but this guy may have actually been in the right. This thread was posted to Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit by u/ProfessorBotanist, who shared that he (a Latinx trans male professor) was invited to a work event for the fall quarter and was allowed to bring his fiancé (a cis white woman from a far wealthier background).
The identities in this story are significant since the Redditor pointed out the various micro-aggressions he experiences at work. You get the sense that this was an important event for him, and an anxiety-inducing one too. Which is why when his fiancé gave him two options for her dress and then refused to listen to his recommendation for the more formal option, he got upset. It's his event after all, and there's already a lot of baggage attached to it. He doesn't need her to make things more uncomfortable for him as well Sometimes, being a good partner actually does mean sucking it up and just being supportive. Who knew?!

Absolutely Tragic Turkey Fails That Are So Terrible That They'll Make You Go Vegan on Thanksgiving (November 23, 2022)

'Schrodinger's pet:' Internet divided over mysterious animal-shaped Christmas ornament
Every so often, something mildly controversial will blow up the entire internet for a few days. Like "The Dress," the blue and white/black and gold dress debacle, in which different people saw a differently colored dress, and then proceeded to argue about it and create memes about it for quite some time. Well, here is the latest slightly controversial internet item! This mysterious Christmas ornament was presented to the internet on r/mildlyinfuriating, with a simple premise: is this ornament a cat or a dog?
It sounds so simple! But with the pointy ears and tiny tail, no one can quite figure out if this golden decoration is canine or feline. Take a look for yourself, and see what the commenters had to say below.
Up next, click here to discover these incredibly strange vehicles that will definitely turn heads as they drive around.
'Don't ruin it like everything else in your life': 20+ relatable fails for self-deprecating "adults"
It's hard being a horrible adult. Trust me. We understand and know this experience all too well. You have a long-running list of all the things you need to do to get your act together, but also Netflix is right there. And also your bed is so comfy. And also why make your own coffee when you can spend $8 on a latte at the overpriced café around the corner, which also charges $2 extra for oat milk, and - let's be honest - you're probably also going to get a pastry too. We may not ever make it to that list, but instead, we did waste our valuable time compiling another list: one full of relatable, self-deprecating content as an olive branch to you, dear reader, who we hope also feels like trash 99.9% of the time. Funniest Braindead Memes for People Who Feel a Little Dumb Sometimes
Have you ever felt like your brain is running on Internet Explorer instead of Google Chrome? You're not alone. Sometimes, especially when life is overwhelming and overstimulating (aka all the time), it's hard to boot up the ol' grey matter in your dome to solve simple problems or answer intermediate questions. The yes or no response is more complicated than it sounds, okay?
It's not that you're hard of hearing or anything, you're just a little slow today and you need people to repeat themselves after explaining any task. It's a good thing you're no longer at the age where you're constantly taking standardized tests because if you used your current brain to solve Algebra 2 word questions, you would probably fail. Being an adult poses a lot of other uses for the brain, so sometimes old information just gets kicked out. For example, if you meet someone and they tell you their name, that's extraneous information that definitely won't be there tomorrow. So you're not dumb, your brain is just TOO full.

Horrible Aunt Babysits 9-Year-Old Niece, Tells Her That Her Mom Never Wanted Kids
When it comes to babysitting, this is about as bad as it gets. This aunt literally revealed to her 9-year-old niece that her mother never wanted children in the first place. Sure, she might have meant to add that her sister didn't want kids but changed her mind later in life, but something in her clearly chose to omit that crucial detail.
This thread was posted to Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit by u/Unusual_Monitor_2492, and the best part of the whole reading experience is following the original poster as she attempts to defend herself and justify her actions. Even in her own updates to the original post, she tries to elicit more sympathy from the crowd but by that point, she already revealed her true cards. Too late, lady!

Entitled customer demands refund for 'first come first serve' basis parking that they didn't pay for, hotel worker maliciously complies
There are glorious times in customer service when doing what the customer has asked necessitates doing technically nothing. It's a rare occurrence but oh-so-good when it happens to chance upon you.
When this worker promised to give an angry Karen a refund, they did so by promising to refund the amount that it would cost them to park on the street: Nothing. This left the Karen happy to go merrily on their way, and with the problem now out of sight and out of mind, she was never the wiser. It's genius really, a prime example of the best customer service one should offer.

'He stated berating me': Jerk neighbor breaks code, gets served bureaucratic justice by disgruntled government employee
There's an old saying that's continually relevant to customer service: The squeaky wheel gets the grease; it's true, more often than not, following up consistently with a service provider (and being generally bothersome) will net you a faster result than those who wait silently. Most people choose to do this by obnoxiously demanding service but obnoxious or not, it's always important to be polite. Being polite, maybe firm, when necessary, will always net you a better result than being a bellend.
This is especially true when dealing with government departments that are particularly prone to bureaucratic administrative inertia. Getting your knickers in a twist with a government pencil pusher will ensure that you're waiting eternally for a result, which can be especially problematic when said government worker already despises their working existence. Meanwhile, being on the better side of these government workers can net miracles of quick results and decisive action that was previously thought to be impossible for the department.
This is how it was in our story… When this good guy neighbor was saved from his jerk neighbor by a benevolent government employee... "He may have lost the neighbors' respect, but he gained — well, you will see whether he gained anything in the end."

'This is a mandatory family contribution!': Demanding family member tells guests to buy their own expensive Thanksgiving chair AND cover food costs
Would you attend this controversial family Thanksgiving meal? One Redditor posted to r/mildlyinfuriating with an irritating story to share. They shared a text from a family member that asks for "some family jubilation and participation" for this year's turkey day. If you want to eat at this family's home, you need to bring your own chair! Yes, seriously!
Not only did the wacky request state that everyone should bring their own seat, the message even includes links to buy chairs. These aren't just your average folding seats - they cost $30 each! "Thinking we should start with 8 or 12 [chairs]," the message reads. That's not the only reason the OP was ticked off at the request…keep reading below to follow this Thanksgiving drama that's as juicy as a freshly cooked turkey.

'It's just bad holiday hosting': Husband says he can handle all the Thanksgiving dinner prep this year, it's not working out
Something tells me this family is going to be ordering takeout this Thursday...
This thread was posted to Reddit's r/AmiTheA**hole subreddit by u/TheRaccoonEmpress, who opened up about her current drama with her husband as Thanksgiving approaches. After handling the whole family event on her own every year for decades, this Redditor asked if she could opt out of doing all the work this time around. Her husband stepped in and said he could totally handle it. As weeks went by and no work was being done in preparation for the event, the wife eventually couldn't help but notice that her husband, kind as he may be, was simply not up to the task. What's also funny here is how animated people were in the comments section. It sounds like plenty of people have been in the Redditor's shoes before. Keep scrolling below to see what they had to say! Idiot friend buys car at outrageous price from scummy dealer, guy gets him a free new car when he realizes dealer committed fraud
The stereotype of the sleazy salesman is one that holds very true to reality. There are far too many people in the trade who will do anything it takes to close a sale and there are also far too many industries breeding these manipulators. Part of it is the fault of commission-based work: When you work with no guarantee of consistent pay, you're likely to turn to drastic methods to put food on the table. You usually then realize that there's no ceiling to your income as long as you can close an infinite amount of sales to achieve it.
To further this idea: The culture in these industries will often encourage a "hustler" mindset, where everyone shares the ultimate goal of living the high-earner lifestyle of their idols.
Well, this shady car salesman went as far as committing fraud when they were determined to close the sale on Redditor u/redditadmindumb87's friend. Luckily u/redditadmindumb87 had more sense and managed to get their friend out of the deal using the apparent fraud as leverage, landing their friend a newer car in the process.

30+ Cars that failed so hard there's no way they're street legal
Car people LOVE their cars - and some of them will do anything to stand out and improve their ride even in the smallest ways. Some people take care of their cars by making visits to the car wash, or opting for leather seats or a red coat of paint. But then other people are way more creative. After all, not every ride has hundreds of little Hot Wheels cars glued on to it! And if you're not jealous of the driver who installed a comfy brown couch in the front row, you just haven't viewed his cushy vehicle yet.
