Karen Assumes Random Guy is the Restaurant's Manager, Gets Served

This college student found himself in a Karen's crosshairs when she mistook him for the restaurant's manager. When she insisted, he decided to play her game and have a little fun with it.

The story was posted to Reddit's r/idontworkherelady subreddit by u/Raptor-2020. This subreddit is a have for stories where innocent bystanders and other customers have been mistaken by someone who assumes that they are an employee. This often paves the way for some great stories about Karens and Kevins and gives people in the service industry a great source of entertainment.

Comments were mixed on this story with multiple people calling out the story for its contrived plot points. We found one especially harsh comment that was posted within an hour of the story going live.

"I stopped reading after the setup and skipped to the end." replied AcEcolton32. "'Feel free to use this on YouTube.' Nice try with trying out your writing chops but they're shit. If you wanted to write a good fake idwhl story that's actually believable, don't make it read like a book, like you know every single detail of what happened with no doubt at all. Making yourself look like an amazing badass intellectual, pinning this fantasy version of yourself against some vile redneck family. And in the end of course you used your superior intellect and wit to, and I quote, "defeat" a Karen. It was all so generic and cringe inducing to read. I just imagine your classic obese reddit neck beard getting out of breath as he types this, jerking himself off to the idea that they're some kind of hero in this fiction they've created.

Looks like you even bought some upvotes and comments for this trash-ass post. Hope this all turns out to be a huge waste of time and money for you, because it certainly wasted my time."
