This thread was posted to Reddit's r/AITA (Am I the A-Hole) subreddit by the husband, u/tripjackedaita, who posted the topic with the title "AITA For telling my wife that she hijacked our anniversary trip?" He posted the topic to the popular subreddit in order to appeal to readers and see whether or not he was wrong for reacting the way he did when his wife invited his mother-in-law on their trip. His wife is upset with him for his comments and he's upset with her for even inviting her mother.
