This guy's dad passed away, leaving his sister and him the house. While he was doing some yard work, he found that the older lady living next door wanted to make this complete non-problem her problem. Despite his attempts to explain why he's there, she would not be convinced. So she settled on recording him with her phone. It's probably hard to get into the groove of weeding when an old lady is recording your every move in an attempt to "catch you." OP came up with a pretty novel way to stop this nosey old lady from being a creepy weirdo, and the internet approves of his method.
But seriously, what does she think is going on here? That a burglar has come a few days in a row in order to steal a bunch of lawn clippings? How much does ill-gotten mulch sell for on the black market these days?
