33 People Share Times They Were Responsible For New Rules

It's pretty cool to break a rule you didn't even know existed. You almost feel like a celebrity. You're like an astronaut of inappropriateness, coming up with new ways to battle the system.

It's happened to just about everyone. You're at work on a slow day, and you discover a back room in a warehouse that's basically untouched. "Hot damn," you think, "I could get a mattress, a few toilets in here, and I'd have a pretty cool fort." It goes well for a few weeks, but then your bunker gets found out by a nosey coworker, and it's back to square one. Except now there's a new memo that goes out, reading "under no circumstances may an employee build a clubhouse out of work property." It was a short ride, but it was an exciting one. And now new hires will hear the legend of your chill work bunker.
