There was a time when TVs were barrel-chested. When video game graphics were chunkier than salsa. Those were the days when going on a bike ride really meant something. The days when you didn't have to do laundry, and didn't feel like a sack of trash for just sitting on the couch all day playing N64. The days when you could just sit on the floor with Legos. And try as we might, we can all but grasp those feelings we had living utterly uncomplicated lives.
We want it back. But it's just all so far away. Now all we can do is listen to Evanescence and try playing old video games, but man it's just not the same. When did all these games get so hard? We couldn't possibly be losing it? That would be impossible. No, it's Mario. He's just gotten older and slower. He did this.
